When Site Kit is activated, my website pages are blank

I updated the plugin yesterday, and after the update now my pages on the website are showing up blank. I did test to confirm that it was this plugin causing the issue. The pages show when it’s deactivated and it doesn’t when it’s activated. How can I go about solving this? It was working perfectly before the update.

White Screen of Death

I was having an issue with setting a submission message to redirect to a new page so I decided to update the plugin. After doing so, it gave my entire website the “white screen of death”. It was remedied by deactivating the plugin but now my forms on my site are gone until I can enable the plugin again. Can you help?

Is This Plugin Going To Be Updated Ever?

Is this plugin going to ever be updated? I know it works on the latest version but is there any thought into enhancing this plugin with perhaps rewriting the code, adding a feature to change the “go” word without having to manually edit coding?

I have no problems with the plugin but it’s not been updated in 8months and I feel the plugin author’s abandoned this plugin. At least change something so WordPress recognize’s this plugin as compatible with the last version and latest Genesis version.

If anyone knows how to replay this message to the plugin author or StudioPress developers that would be great. Some framework friends of mine are now switching to competitors because the plugin is updated often. I’m not switching because I mostly all my plugins are made for the genesis framework. I support our family. lol

Updated Plugin – Changed Permalink Structure

I just updated the Custom Post Type UI plugin in WordPress and it automatically deleted 4 of the 6 blog type categories for the website I run BattleRapNews.com

The only category that was left untouched for some reason was Battles, but every other article on the site now gives a broken link. Even in the WordPress dashboard I cannot see any of the previous Categories or hundreds of posts that were included under each category.

The permalink structure was changed as well as a result. For example, before an interview was posted at the URL https://battlerapnews.com/interview/loaded-lux-speaks-the-day-before-battling-charlie-clips/

Now “interview” has been stripped of the permalink structure and you are given an error > https://battlerapnews.com/loaded-lux-speaks-the-day-before-battling-charlie-clips/

Posts under the category “Blogs” still appear but only because they were always uncategorized posts.

Please let me know ASAP what I can do to revert this change, or if all of my blog posts cannot be recovered, what I should do going forward.

According to the repository, this has not been updated for 2 years. Is it still current? If so, it would help us if you update it. I’m looking for another option since I’m leary of plugins that say they have been 2 years without updates.

Version 1.3.0 of the Affiliate plugin has just been released. This mainly adds a new help tab to make it easier to find the plugin’s documentattion. It’s also been tested with the current WordPress 4.1.1 to make sure that it’s issue-free. Besides that, there were also a couple of minor fixes to be taken care of.

[Updated Plugin: Decent Comments] Comments in specific categories or tags

As suggested by MishaOLS in this comment, the plugin now allows to show comments from specific categories. This also works for tags. It actually works with any taxonomy, you can specify the term slugs in the widget options or in the shortcode.

Shortcode examples:

Show comments on posts in the “uncategorized” category:
[decent_comments taxonomy="category" terms="uncategorized"/]

Show comments on posts tagged with “haiku” or “poem”:
[decent_comments taxonomy="post_tag" terms="haiku,poem"/]

You can also specify that comments for posts in the same categories as the current post are shown:

[decent_comments taxonomy="category" terms="{current}"/]

If you want to you that in the widget, there are two new fields: Taxonomy and Terms and these work just as the shortcode.

Oh and the shortcode works in two versions, either [decent_comments] or [decent-comments]

installed updates on plugins, website crashed. Cannot login. Please help me!

I recently had my website designed as a WordPress site and I am not familiar with working in it. I noticed my plugins needed updating so I updated them and the website has crashed. I cannot even login. When I try I receive this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home/content/r/k/e/rkecoach2/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-pagenavi/scb/load.php on line 12

Can someone please help me?
