I’ve tried to change my admin email but I haven’t received confirmation from WordPress. I reached out to my host, BlueHost and they said it was an issue with Google since they are my email provider. Google has tried to manually setup WP as not spam but still no luck. They said it was an issue within WP.
I have a contact form on my site and am not getting emails because WP is not confirming my email.
Please advise, thanks!
]]>My WP user file has been corrupted with some users having the wrong email address assigned to their record. The username is also the email address and this is correct.
I attempted to update the users with an import of two columns (username and user_email) from a CSV file. This works for those users whose emails are already correct but the update is rejected for those users with incorrect email addresses.
Why is this and what can I do to correct this?
]]>In the registration form, the plugin is working properly. But when I’m trying to update the email after registration, it is allowing the free domain list. Is there any way to block free domain email on update email page too.
]]>I tested it this morning with and without an email and I got the same error both times. I then deleted the email question thinking that might fix it in the short term, but not still getting the same error.
I manage alot of wordpress sites (50+) and get periodic emails advising of updates available. I try to keep them all as up to date as possible for security.
I’ve noticed that in every email I’m getting these days, the links pointing back to the site that sent the email all begin with https://.
This causes issues when clicking the links in the email, as browsers will display scary errors when attempting to connect over SSL to a site that has no valid SSL cert.
Is this some issue with WordPress or is it something to do with how I’ve configured the sites? They generally run a theme I developed, but I didn’t include anything in it that changes SSL settings.
Is there an option I can check for this?
]]>I have tried setting the Mail Server to: pop.secureserver.net Port 110 and also smtpout.secureserver.net
Anyone have success setting up the update post via email along with a godaddy hosted email account?
