Unable to update to WordPress 4.2.2

I tried updating to WordPress 4.2.2 and got this error message –

Installation Failed

I have recently downloaded Android Studio. Is it causing the problem?
How to resolve this issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

Problems after updating to 4.2.2

My WordPress was at 4.0.5 before I decided to update it to 4.2.2, and since then it has been giving me problems.

At first it was the one-click update that didn’t do the magic and kept telling me there is an 500 internal server error, so I tried updating it manually. Then it asked me to update my database, which I did by clicking the “update” button, and then again, I still see the 500 internal server error page.

Logging in or out from my blog (https://moondropfish.com/blog/) is not a problem (so I know I didn’t lose my posts and blog completely), the problem is trying to do everything else that are in the dashboard/admin page. I can still browse the pages on my blog, but if I log in and then view my blog, I can no longer go back to the admin page (it will just show the 500 internal server page) until I log out and re-log in (but still won’t be able to do any edits/customization on blog.

Please help!

Updated to 4.2.2 now I can't access my page

I just updated to 4.2.2 and now I can’t access my page to make changes and I can’t just type in my page to look at my content.

What did I do wrong? And how can I get access back to my page?

Update to WP version 4.2.2 doesn't work

I maintain several WP websites but there’s one which doesn’t update from version 4.2.1 to version 4.2.2. The update is downloaded but after an confirmation that the update is installed, I still get the message that I should update because of errors. Tried several attemps to update but problem persists. The website is running in the Atahualpa theme.

Any suggestions?

Text-editor disappeared after update to 4.2.2.

After updating to version 4.2.2. I can’t edit my pages anymore. The text-editor disappeared and all my pages seems blank without content. Although when I select all I can see the content is still there in HTML-code.
But because I’m not such an expert, I usually work in the visual-mode. Does anyone knows how to solve this problem?
