I’m noticing that email subscribers who have previously subscribed through a form, are subsequently unsubscribed after placing a woocommerce order.
This would be expected based off the normal functionality I’ve seen described for the “opt-in on checkout” feature, but I have that feature disabled in my mailpoet settings > woocommerce. I do use mailpoet to customize the woocommerce email design.
I disabled the ability for visitors to create accounts on my website, so all visitors are guests.
Is there any way to prevent these previously-subscribed guests to the website from being unsubscribed upon their placement of an order?

Is it possible?
Thanks
]]>I’ve just noticed that we’ve had a number of users bulk unsubscribed from our mailing list automatically. I can see that they’ve all been unsubscribed with almost exactly the same time stamp. It’s happened on a day that an email has been sent out to the list, but the unsubscribed time is 5-10 minutes before the email has been sent out. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Thanks!

If I now login to Mailchimp and view my list in question, I see Unsubscribed under the Email Marketing field for the majority of my prior subscribers. This appears to be an action performed not manually by most of my prior subscribers but by the manual synchronization of this plugin.
How do users opt back into this Mailchimp list? Or is there a way for me to reverse the unsubscribes caused by this manual synchronization?
]]>If I try to subscribe me again, I see this message in the popup:
“This email address has already subscribed”
You know why this happen? If I right now I appear in mailchimp as Unsubscribed.
Thanks,
Jose
What I did to try to solve:
set to Single Opt In;
corrected the cron job url;
used Sync function;
unfortunately, nothing changed.
Thanks for your indispensable help.
]]>Now I keep receiving notifications being unsubscribed.
After checking, indeed my status is changed to unsubscribed.
Everytime I change this again to ‘confirmed ‘ only to receive the same confirmation mail again about being UNsubcribed. And yes, it does change my setting to ‘unscubsribed’ again. There is a few hours interval between changing my status to confirmed and receiving the next unsubscribed notification
It seems that only I am suffering from this strange behaivure by the newsletter plugin.
Does anyone have a clue why this happens?
]]>Just want to run something quick by you. We’ve recently switched to Active Campaign from Aweber for our email autoresponder provider, and we’ve run into a problem.
It seems the email contact in Active Campaign that Postie connects to to display the email keeps getting unsubscribed by Active Campaign. Being honest, I’m pretty sure this is Active Campaign’s doing, but before I go back to them I want to check if there is anything on the Postie side that would lead to a contact becoming unsubscribed?
Thanks!
Keith
