I am stumbling through the set up on this thing. How do I make the Unsubscribe work? The instructions are unclear. It says “Create a link with URL {unsubscription_url} to give access to the cancellation page.” OK, I created a link to {unsubscripiton_url} but that is not a real page. I get not found. Then it says “to give access to the cancellation page” Where is that? Where is the cancellation page. If I knew that I would create a link to “It” and not a link to “{unsubscription}” which is NOT A PAGE.. So could you please rephrase that to give me an indication of what I should really do? Because nothing I have tried works.

Hi, Is it possible to remove the requirement for the Unsubscribe link in the footer of every Newsletter?

I have no need or use for the Unsubscribe link so forcing it just confuses the users.

at first, great plugin! Really one of the best I’ve seen so far in terms of mass mail sending.

But I am having an issue with my unsubscribe links. The link in the mail seems to be fine. It is looking like:

Thanks for all your work in developing this plugin. I have used it for some time and it worked perfectly in the beginning. Some time ago (months) I noticed that some of the links wasn’t working anymore. Instead of pretty links, I got the full link in plain text. People can still subscribe and unsubscribe but only if they copy and paste the long text.

I thought (hoped) that someone else was going to report this and that it was going to be fixed in the next release. 10+ versions later my “unsubscribe” links are still not working.

Any suggestions? Can’t find anything useful in the documentation I am afraid.

I updated all Icegram plugins to latest versions, Email subscriber is 4.3.0. Per https://www.icegram.com/documentation/es-how-to-add-unsubscribe-link-in-emails/, I tried {{LINK}} but that is created same as unsubscribe.

It should have query parameter ‘es=unsubscribe’, instead shows ‘es=optin’ – same as subscribe confirmation.

Need help to fix this.
