I am finding users added to my site. I am getting messages where they are changing their emails. How do I stop this. I am the admin and only user.

How do I know if my site is part of a network? I fired my developer and deleted his “user” account, but now have 5 more users I don’t know! I had changed my password.

He put his own WP install on the site and controls my adwords account. My sales went to 0 after I confronted him on his receiving BCC of my contact form.

I’m freaking out, don’t know WP and want it gone.

Bogus users on my admin dashboard

Hello
I received 2 emails saying that users registered on my site.
So I logged into my wordpress dashboard and indeed saw the 2 bogus users (bogus email addresses and names).
I had the Register option checked which I then changed reading the other posts regarding the same issue.
However, my question is simple. How can people “register” as a subscriber on my site when I have maintenance mode activated? When you check my site: www.bymaryparis.com, you will get the maintenance mode alert saying that my site is currently under construction. So how is it possible for people to register as a user on my site???
Could it be related to my database user login? Meaning if my db’s user is root and the pw is root, is it possible for people to create users via this method?
I am using WordPress as live (not locally).

2 different layouts for one theme (known and unknown users see different themes)

I’ve been using www.remarpro.com for about six months – two weeks ago I noticed that “known” users (like if I am logged in) are seeing vastly different pages than “unknown users” (someone who finds it by Google search).

I checked different computers – people who read my blog very often see the layout I want (three columns, light grey-blue, dark blue, engaging) where people who find my blog via Google search or type the URL see a bad layout (full page, blue, no boarders, boring).

I don’t know why this is happening.
I’ve never had a layout that looks anything like the “unknown” version.

I need help so that everyone sees the same page.

People keep registering themselves as Users on my page.
Then they post advertisements in English and in Polish on my Home page.

How can I prevent this?

Hi,

I have the following problem. Since a few days i have random users without roles popping up in my user list. This are usualy random user names but sometimes user names that refer to a website.

Has anyone encountered this problem before and more importantly how can it be solved?
