I need to redirect to the destination page only if the user comes from a specific page
For example, if the user goes to the page from the / registration page, he will see the /xyz page, but if he pastes the address www.start.com/xyz into the browser or goes to the page from another subpage, he will be directed to home page.
I tried to do this by adding Match: URL and custom filter, but I don’t know what filter to add for the function to work as I would like.
Thank you very much for your reply and best regards.
Matthew

I’d like to have : https://abc.com/buddydrive/file/[id]/ with function like : uniqid() (https://php.net/manual/en/function.uniqid.php)
You seems to add a way to play with the URL in buddydrive-item-ajax.php but I can’t figure how to play with the GUID to get what I need.
Thanks for the help
]]>What I want is this:
site1.com
blog.site1.com –(turned into)–> site2.com
blog1.site2.com
blog2.site2.com
In descriptive terms, I want two unique URLs for two unique websites on my WP Multisite Network. Then, I want 2 different blog URLs stemming from the second unique URL on my Multisite Network.
That’s the most specific and simple I can make it. Can someone help me out here?
I use GoDaddy hosting.
I am a web developer and have a client that I wish to use your testimonial premium plug-in but they want to verify the following functionality is possible. Not able to completely verify so I thought I would ask. Here is what my requirements are:
1.Testimonial pages are custom post types (rather than blog posts)
2. each testimonial will have the capability of having his own unique URL as a custom post type.
3. Custom taxonomies (categories) rather than blog categories. Dropdown capability for the categories.
I am hopeful that your plug-in will meet these requirements so I can purchase it.
Please verify and I will go from there.
Many thanks.
Victor

]]>For a continous customer feedback program, I want to send out emails with a link to an online survey (preferably on wordpress) with unique urls. the url would have as parameters a ticket id and a hash to make it tamperproof.
e.g. www.mycompany.com/survey?ticketno=119874&key=4578ab7efd
When the user clicks on the link, he’s redirected to a survey page. Upon submitting the survey, the the ticket id (from the url) would need to be (invisibly) added to the survey results as well.
Can your plugin do this?

tom

]]>I want to provide people with a short link to a .zip file on Amazon s3 via a PDF download on another web site. I want to limit how people share the file. I know sharing will occur, but I can limit the number of times the file is downloaded and how long the link is active, and hide the direct link to Amazon s3, that will help.
I have Woocommerce installed. Is there a way to use a link generated by woocommerce within this PDF?

]]>But I’m getting confused.
Before I discovered multi-sites, I already had installs of wordpress in three different sub-folders. They each had a domain name pointing to their subfolder, so permalinks would look like: “https://main_site.com/sub-domain/post-1”
The reason I wanted to do a multi-site was so that I could have permalinks referring only to the sub-folder at hand.
So, for example, a permalink would look like: “https://sub-domain.com/post-1”
I set up the Network and the dashboard is really cool, but, it’s setting up my sub-domains as empty wordpress blogs with URLs like: “https://sub-domain.main_site.com”
That’s not what I intended. Is what I intended possible? If so, will I need to migrate my current blogs into the root menu to take advantage of the mutli-site feature?
I installed “WordPress MU Domain Mapping” because I thought it should have detected the WordPress installs in my subdomains, but it has not.
I would prefer not to have to migrate any content from these blogs as it is extensive and I have never had very much luck migrating databases.
Please let me know if there is a solution to this.
These blogs have been up for a while and have a lot of content.
