Hi
I use polylang for a site that lists thematic bibliographies, in other words lists of books. To translate the menus, with polylang, I do have to translate the front pages, which is perfect for the home pages. However, for the other pages of my site, it is absurd to translate them because they are bibliographic & document lists, which will be updated and I don’t want to have to do it every time in each language. But I need the menu to be in the different language for evident reasons.
It seems that Polylang does not allow otherwise to propose the translation of menus, as it is the case for the strings.
What would be the recommended solution?
– To Use the default French page by default and insert in the duplicated foreign language page, an iframe, to retrieve the content? However the result is not very convenient, since the menu is also integrated. cf for example: https://e-reforma-univ.eu/pt/aparelho-critico/ Or somebody knows how to import the content without the menu and theme? I’vent found a solution.
– Does somebody has another solutions?
I’m currently trying to find a solution to create a unique code (or coupon) that can be entered on the website. This code must redirect to a specific page (private) to show content.
The problem is: Most plugins only work with a unique code to a specific page. I cannot find any unique code generators that give me the oppurtunity to have >20 codes with all unique urls forwarders.
And:
I need to have a field on a page on which visitors can enter a received code, to acces a specific page.
Does somebody know if there’s a plugin for this, or do I need such a specific thing that I need to hire someone to fix this?
I’m curious if some of you can help me out!
Regards,
AKroes
]]>I would like to have a distraction-free About page on my website that doesn’t have the sidebar that I need for every other post and page.
Here is my website where I am having trouble:
https://www.freecustommusic.com/
If I do not find another solution, then I will be forced to do the very awkward action of installing another instance of WordPress on my website, just for the About page.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Thank you very much,
Aaron
Issue #1
My WordPress site is https://www.CarefreeRomanticVacations.com. I also own https://www.RedlandsTravelAgent.com, registered with WhoIs. I am currently forwarding RedlandsTravelAgent.com to CarefreeRomanticVacations.com, but instead I want to redirect (I think) RedlandsTravelAgent.com to CarefreeRomanticVacations.com. The purpose for this is because I want people searching for “Redlands Travel Agent” to find RedlandsTravelAgent.com and when they click on it, be directed to CarefreeRomanticVacations.com.
Issue #2
When someone clicks on RedlandsTravelAgent.com, how would I go about changing that page only (may need to be a totally separate page) to show some information about Redlands Travel Agent, while the site is really CarefreeRomanticVacations.com. Also, any suggestions on how to best do that, so the visitor does not feel that they were “tricked”.
Please explain in depth. I am a WordPress newbie. I had my current site built for me.

Is this possible? Thanks.

]]>Can I make widgets active on just certain pages? If so, how?
(In case it’s helpful: I’ve been blogging for a while on wordpress.com, but switching my company site from Joomla to www.remarpro.com. It’s at bezukhov.com right now.)
Thanks!
