Hi,

I read all of the topics same with this but I can’t find any solution for that. There is no problem about file permissions and paths in the wordfence-waf.php file.

I guess, I get this message after when extended proctection was live or something but for now firewall and extended edition are disabled.

Can someone help me about that?

When I save changes i get the below message at the top of the page. I assume that means the plugin is not going to work. How do I resolve this? Thanks

After Upgrade: Unable to Export / Unable to write

Hi Pim!

Love the Plug-in. I ran into a snafu. I am using the Multi-site, I migrated the sites successfully. Thank you! Your support was wonderful. After I upgraded the plug-in today and tried to do a backup and I received the following error: (The file permissions are 0755)

Unable to export
Unable to write /home/flrltest/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage/k3mwrvm1u2h4/flrltest.org-20160816-201317-702.wpress

I am getting the same UNABLE TO WRITE error as the support topic here

The website is ~125MB and i have plenty of space on the server. I have already Exported 5 other sites with no issue. Is there a log file or some other troubleshooting steps i can take. Thanks. (GoDaddy host)

I am getting the message “Unable to write to directory %s. Is this directory writable by the server? Your application could not be processed.” According to a prior post changing the permissions on the uploads folder and it’s sub folders to 777 should resolve the issue. I have made this change but still cannot submit a resume.

How can this be resolved?

changed servers, now can't upload or edit

Hi – I setup WordPress with cPanel (not fantastico) at one host and it worked fine, then I moved the whole WHM to another host.

Now, when logged in to wordpress as admin I’m unable to:
a) Edit theme files
b) Edit plugin files
c) Upload media

I have root access to the server and can manually change permissions to edit theme or plugin files, but I know that’s not right.

I have another wordpress install on the same server that works fine and there are no differences in the directory or file permissions.

Just like the working installation in another account on the same server, my uploads folder (and the others) are set to 755 (where “mycpaneluser” is the account owner – same setup as always with cPanel):

drwxr-xr-x 19 mycpaneluser mycpaneluser 4096 Feb 4 16:58 plugins/
drwxr-xr-x 6 mycpaneluser mycpaneluser 4096 Feb 4 16:03 themes/

Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet Site

Each time I try to post a entry to my blog it tells me that

cannot be found.

Looking at my site on the server this file is there. How do I get back to being able to post new entries.

Unable to auto update plugins or upload pictures

I am installing wordpress (which I have done numerous times) for the first time on media temple hosting for a client who has a dedicated server

After I completed the install I ftp’d all the plugins in and started creating content for them. One of the issues I have is that the images won’t upload I get an error stating

Unable to create directory /var/www/vhosts/vikkiziegler.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/2008/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I checked the hosting and all the folders are writable.

When I go to update the plugins I also have to use the ftp setup as opposed to just the autoupdate. I double checked the files and they are all writable.

Everything in the .htaccess file is okay…

Just wondering if there is something obvious that I am not checking that could be causing this?

for some reason I am unable to write any posts on my blog and I cant figure out why everything else seems to be working on my blog and the write post page looks fine but when i click in the text area for some reason I cant type anything in.
does anyone know how to solve this problem?
