ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE – Unable to comment

Hey Guys

Recently the comment section of my blog stop working. Every time someone try’s to enter a comment, after clicking ‘Submit’, an error page is displayed:

“The page [my domain] isn’t working
[my domain] hasn’t sent any data
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE”

The last comment I received dates from 4 days go, so that might be when it stop working.
This isn’t exclusive to me but to everybody who tries to comment (so it can’t be a cache/browser problem I assume).
The rest of the website works perfectly.

I’ve searched the forum for similar problems but couldn’t find a solution for my case.
Help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Login problem with site on 2 URLs

We are in the process of making www.YourBusinessMatters.net our main URL but the previous site was built and is hosted on www.YourBusinessMattersTour.com. We’ve reset the General Settings so users are directed to the new .net address after registering or logging in but then the ‘new’ site is not recognising them as logged in. (They have to go back to Tour.com site to get into their profile).

We are using “Custom Meta Widget” for the login process on WP 3.6.1.

Also, using bbPress for the Forum and that is not recognising they are logged in no matter which site the user goes to.

I’m not a techy so please be gentle with your suggestions.

PS: Also looking for a reputable WP freelancer to start supporting this on an ongoing basis.

Suddenly people can't comment on my blog

People have been able to post on my blog since I started 6 months ago. Suddenly, this latest post they can’t. I had antispam bee installed but didn’t appear to be working. Went into it did nothing clicked update and it is now catching spam but that’s the only thing I have done differently. I have reinstalled wp. I have deactivated antispam bee neither worked. In the discussions tab all marked as anyone can comment on all posts.

Hi,

Relative newbie to WordPress, not code savvy and first time poster!

Neither I nor visitors to my site www.robpackphotography.com nare able to leave comments. When a comment is posted the following error message is returned; “There was an error submitting your comment. Please try again”

Comments previously worked till the 05/10 so obviously something has changed but not sure what. I have searched previous forum articles and although one has the same error message it doesn’t really solve the problem.

I have tried;
Deactivating all of my plugins
Resetting to default my permalinks
checkinging that the index.php exists in my wp folder (this was recommended in one of the topics)

None of these have worked and I’m really struggling. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I find myself enable to comment on my post. I enabled comments in settings and in each post and page. The button to press for commenting isnt even showing up on the pages. I disabled all my plugins and still it did not work. When you click to comment the url loads to https://wrightmusic.ca/gigs/#respond but never shows any area to respond in. the site is wrightmusic.ca .

I have an account with WordPress.com, however not one with www.remarpro.com as I don’t need one right now. I am hoping to comment on a .org blog page that requires log in, which demanded me to log into wordpress. I used my wordpress.com combination and it says it is not recorded. I then used this one and again, it is not valid.

Do I have to host something online just so I can register for an account to comment on?

Users unable to comment on my site

Hi All,
I am a new user of WordPress. I have installed wordpress at https://blog.webstop.in , everything works fine. I tried to comment a post to check, but I get an “500 – Internal server error.”.

I am running on Windows Shared hosting and also have updated the web.config file and given it read write permission.

I googled but I was not able to find a solution. Please help!!!

Unable to save, save & edit or publish post or pages

Please forgive this stupid question. I’ve driven myself crazy searching for an answer. What I’m hoping is that someone can let me know where to go from here in troubleshooting. I am unable to publish new posts on one of my blogs. This occurs whether I am logged in as admin or any other user. I cannot think of anything “strange” that I have done recently to cause this behavior to start occurring. However, I have recently changed hosts, and I notice they installed Zend, which I read was causing problems for some people. I am using the most up to date edition of WP. One interesting thing that I found out is when the post.php runs, I receive the following as a result

https://www.webauctionprofits.com/blog/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=0

and nothing shows up.

However, when I save a post on another of my blogs, I receive this

https://www.thebeachcruiser.com/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=8

and it saves the post fine. I just see that there is post=0 in the first case and post=some number in the second. Also, it doesn’t matter whether I save the post, save and continue editing, or publish. Nothing happens in any case.

Also, I checked in the database, and none of the test posts are being saved to the database. I don’t know if any of this is helpful, but I would so deeply appreciate any advice.
