Just upgraded to 7.7.1 and ne site fails

I have upgraded to last version of iThemes Security (7.7.1) on my 4 blogs and on one of them appears following errors:

I have deactivated the plugin and reactivate it again. All tables related to iThemes have disappeared.

No more information at this moment.

Please give us any ideas on how to proceed, any help will be welcomed

javascrptin pop-up for rtl languages wont show correct letters.

Hi where and thank you before hand for making this useful and great plugin. after the last fixes you applied to make the translations work, now I see when I try to translate the message in the javascript pop-up window (when the user changes the giftwrap option it asks for confirmation if one gift wrap is available in the cart), the arabic alfabets arent shown currectly and instead their UTF-8 code gets displayed.

please fix this (maybe changing to UTF-8 character encoding will help, i dont know…!) so we could present the message with our own language to the user. thanks.

Hi,

I have a problem when I use wr pagebuilder, all the é, à è, etc. character are replaced by “?” on the preview and the front end display.
I tried using the default WP theme but still and error.
But when I disable the wr pagebuilder and use the default WP editor it works.
Does anyone have the same error? Any solution?

sql table fields collation is latin1_swedish_ci

Hi,

sorry if this was mention before.

In sql tables is used latin1_swedish_ci collation. This cause issue with some languages, where some characters are converted to “?”.
With utf8_unicode_ci should works fine.

I am using wordpress 2.7 and recently started getting question marks surrounded by a diamond. In an effort to get rid of them I hit the forums and after trying every utf-8 plugin I could find nothing seemed to work. So I decided to add this to my
wp-config.php file
define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);
define(‘DB_COLLATE’, ‘utf8_general_ci’);

this removed all of the question mark things but now in my old posts I have all of these ? once again I have tried to get rid of these by using the utf-8 plugins but nothing is working. I ahve tried to delete out

define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);
define(‘DB_COLLATE’, ‘utf8_general_ci’);

out of the wp-config.php but then I just get the question marks back. If anyone has any idea how to fix this please let me know.
