Redirectmanager Yoast Typo3

According to the manual in Yoast SEO for typo3 9.0.3 and higher there should be a redirectmanager, but we can’t find it.
Futher our customer complains the “Flesch Reading Ease score” is always low.

Further the customer always gets the message “Consecutive sentences: The text contains 6 consecutive sentences starting with the same word. Try to mix things up!”. But he can’t find the sentences.
And Yoast complains about multiple H1 tags, where externe SEO tools can’t find them.

Customer is worried, the support for Dutch language isn’t good and we wonder where the redirectmanager is.

Structured Data with Yoast Typo3

Hey,
I know the Yoast Plugin is mainly for wordpress, but unfortunately our website runs on Typo3. Is it also possible to implement structured data with the Yoast plugin for typo3? I don’t seem to find the settings in the plugin.
If not, do you have other advice on how I could optimize the website for structured data say with google tag manager or similar tools?

Requirements for import

thanks for the great work! I wanted to import some entries from a typo3 installation, but I am unable to connect to the database although I have the correct database credentials.

What requirements are needed? Do I need ssh access? Database host should be something like localhost or do I have to insert the ip address from the server?

Question about performance of WordPress vs. Typo3 – 8000 articles

So I’ve got a question regarding the performance of wordpress.
Some CEO of my company wants to rebuild a magazine site with more than 500000 impressions, nearly 8000 posts and more than 100000+ database entries which is currently done in Typo3.

Now somebody has told him WordPress would be a good idea and now we have to convince them it is not.

Is WordPress (without much coding effort) meant to handle so much data perfomancewise? the hardware wouldn’t change.
i googled but don’t find any hard facts :/

I am providing proper db connection details, with an without http, with and without port, using localhost and 127.0.0.1… and keeps saying “Unable to connect to the database”.
The DB server is up and running as I can connect to it through phpMyAdmin.

I don’t see how the user having same problem in that thread got to solve it but the author asked whether WP and the database were on the same server. Is it a problem? I have both in localhost, may it be the cause of the error?

If not, what else could it be? .

Encoding problems

Hi,

first thank you for your plugin! It works fine except the following problem:
My Typo3 database and my WordPress database have UTF-8 encoding. After migration all the UTF-8 characters (German umlauts) are broken – e.g. “k??nnen” instead of “k?nnen”. What can I do to fix this?

Typo3 to WordPress

I am planing to change the CMS of my website from Typo3 to WordPress. I have over 500 articles and it would mean days or weeks to me to recreate all those articles manually.

Two questions:
1. Is there a way I could export the articles/sites from Typo3 and import them into WordPress automatically?
2. What do I need to note if I want to rebuild the same theme? Can I just copy/paste the CSS or are there going to be any conflicts? I know how to create themes and plugins on WordPress but I don’t know anything about Typo3.
