Very slow typing into Meta Description box

It would seem there is an inherent problem with Yoast SEO plug-in as I have seen other users experience this. When typing into the Yoast Meta Description box, it is incredibly slow for the text to appear – at least two seconds per character! This never used to happen in older sites – I manage quite a few and it happens in all of them.

I have tried disabling ALL other plugins, and changed the theme to 2024/2023/2022 and it makes no difference.

The hosting servers are more than capable (SiteGround GoGeek packages).

Can anyone from Yoast please look into this issue and offer a possible fix please?

Typing animation: cursor color

I love the typing animation! Unfortunately my text is white and the cursor is black. That looks a little bit weird. Could the cursor inherit the color of the text?

Disabling backspace option

Buddyboss platform typing comment/message problem

Hi,
I am using buddyboss platform with translatepress. When I switch to the translated language, there is a problem with writing comments and messages. The point is, when I start typing the first few letters it jumps before the text marker.

This problem does not arise when the original language is set.

Hello man and thank you again for this superb plugin. Just a main feature is missing. When someone is tyoing a message, it should be cool that all other user can read a (customizable) message such as “admin is typing…” . It should be amazing. Is it possible to add this feature? Thank you.

Chatbot Typing Animation not working?

Hello:

I like the typing animation shown in the demo on the plugin’s admin panel! However, the “Chatbot Typing Animation” radio button doesn’t turn on that animation.

Is there a cross dependency I need to check? Another setting perhaps?

Watson Assistant seems slower to respond than my Dialogflow bots, and can feel unresponsive, so I think the animation would help.

We are having an issue on our site with the typing effect in Internet explorer. It works in IE9, but for IE10 and 11, the cursor just blinks and no text appears.
