I have sent 2 emails to [email protected] as well.
Yesterday suddenly the Twitter feed will not load in WordPress plugin FlowFlow. The Instagram feed is OK. I regenerated the Authorization info for Twitter and it’s still not working.
App received next error message for this feed:
You currently have access to Twitter API v2 endpoints and limited v1.1 endpoints only. If you need access to this endpoint, you may need a different access level. You can learn more here: https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-api/getting-started/about-twitter-api#v2-access-leve
]]>I’ve been using this for a while now. Just one post a day to re-post one of the previous stories to help keep things fresh. Everything has been fine until suddenly today: “SUSPENDED This App has violated Twitter Rules and policies.”.
How? Nothing bad (ie, offensive, or anything else negative) has ever been posted. The last post was about a consumer robot and everything is capable of.
Is this part of a new policy of theirs to try to force people to pay into something?
Update…I see why. I have three apps using the API and you can only have one now. They want you to pay $100/mo if you want more than one app. The other is the normal auto-post of new WP posts. The third will be deleted as I don’t need it that bad. Guess I can’t use this one either. Sucks. Twitter is on some powerful hallucinogens and really looking to chase away its community.
Unless I can use the same app/API for both plugins?
]]>I hope you’re doing great. I have two questions. I’m using the Auto-sharing, (formerly known as Publicize) module and a Jetpack free plan, so I can connect around 150 sites with my WP.com account and use this feature on all my sites (network setup). I see that the shares are now limited to 30 per month as per the article below:
https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-social/social-sharing-new-posts/
So I might need the Social basic plan: https://jetpack.com/social/
My questions are:
1.- Is it possible to connect my 150 network sites using the same plan (account) for all of them so I can have unlimited shares in all of them? Or the plan is handled on a per-site basis?
2.- Do you use the Twitter API with this module? I’m curious because I found this article, and I wonder if you’ll continue having the Twitter share feature: https://wptavern.com/wordpress-plugin-developers-alerted-ahead-of-twitter-api-changes
Also, the Twitter rules for automated posting mention that it’s mandatory to use the Twitter API because if we use a different method we might be getting our accounts banned permanently:
https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/twitter-automation
"Use non-API-based forms of automation, such as scripting the Twitter website. The use of these techniques may result in the permanent suspension of your account."
So would you please let me know if you use the Twitter API, if the automatic share feature for Twitter will remain available, and the social plan details?
Thanks!

???
]]>Is there not some way to have a general setting for use in this plugin for Twitter accounts like the Facebook authentication?
This plugin has been useful but with all of the changes in Facebook, Google+, now Twitter, it’s getting to be very “labor intensive”.
Any insight would be helpful.
]]>I am trying to set up my Twitter API with Microblog Poster. I followed all the guidelines, but when a click ‘Authorize this Twitter account’ in the final step, I receive the following message on Twitter:
Whoa there!
The request token for this page is invalid. It may have already been used, or expired because it is too old. Please go back to the site or application that sent you here and try again; it was probably just a mistake.
I tried refreshing the API key and API secret key and entered them again, but it still sends the same error message.
Is there something that can be done to fix this error?
