In particular, by default, the items appear in bold text. Instead, I want them to appear as normal text, and become bold only when I hover my mouse over any item. Also, when selected, I would like that particular menu item to appear bold and italicized. Finally, I also want to change the bullets used for these items to something else. Since this is my first time using WordPress and creating a website, I am totally lost. I know that I probably have to make some change to the ‘style.css’ file (which I’m accessing from: Dashboard -> Appearance -> Editor). However, I can’t figure out what to change or how to change it. Can anyone help?

As the topic says I want to change my titel and slogan to a image instead. To remove the text I tried to delete the following lines in header.php but then my page could not be viewed at all.

I suspect I need to change something in style.css #Header but I don’t know what to do. My image file is 266px × 104px. Help is much appreciated!

1) Sidebar
My sidebar appears as the footer below the website if i use Firefox and Chrome but it works fine with Internet Explorer. How can i solve this problem?

2) Footer
There is this text “?>” appearing at the bottom left of the website. How can i remove it and where?

3) Search bar
How can i remove the search function located on top right of the header?
