help with template Twenty 10

Hi, all, I’m temporarily using the great Twenty 10 theme.
I mainly use my blog, link above, to post a portfolio of my drawings and photographs.
With my previous theme, when I used the “Category” to refine my blogs post displays, the images associated with those posts were included.
Is it possible for me to add that feature to Twenty 10 (I’m a PHP neophyte, but I can follow instructions well).
Or is there already built into the Theme 10 what I’m asking for and I just don’t have it ‘turned on.’

Color change in Twenty 10 theme

I am looking to see where I would change the color of the theme (black) to a different color. Is it in the CSS? is it on a menu option? Please point me in the right direction.

This is the link at the top of a post whos anchor text is the name of the author and redriects to a page that should list all posts by that author.

I’ve got two users. It works for one (username: Sandy, nickname: Sandy) and not for the other (username: wbcadmin, nickname: Website Administrator)

The author link points to:
domain.com/author/WBC%20Administrator/

which shows the standard “not found” page, as does:
domain.com/author/wbcadmin

Any clues why this isn’t working for the admin account?

Twenty 10 theme – changing "post area" background colour?

Hi there

Am not entirely new to coding (have dabbled in html before) but can’t find a simple way to change the large white background area of the Twenty 10 theme. I’m not talking about the actual page background, but the area containing the header, nav, sidebar and posts.

I’d like to change it to a dark grey, and the text to light grey and white.

If someone could point me in the right direction I’d be extremely grateful!!

Twenty 10 Theme won't scroll when viewed through Internet Explorer

Hi,

Can someone shed some light on the following issue?

I have installed a new site using the Twenty 10 theme and having viewed it through Google Chrome it appears fine. However, when I use Internet Explorer to view the site it is completely static and I am unable to scroll down the page.
I have tested this on computers in two different locations and get the same result.

The site is https://www.lancastercarpetcleaning.co.uk

Problem with More and Excerpt

Hello,
I’m pretty new to WordPress, and I can’t get “More” or Excerpt to work in my posts.

I place the cursor where I want the Read More link to appear, click More and Update the post. The dotted line and “More” appear at the proper place, but when I look at the post in my blog (ProtectPlanetEarth.net/blog1/), the full post is there with no “Read More”.

Similarly, when I write an excerpt and Update, no excerpt shows up in my published post.

I’m using the latest version of the Twenty-10 theme. Please help. Thanks.
