I’m setting up the Wordfence Web Application Firewall, and I got a message saying that Wordfence detected a file in a wp-agent
folder related to bootstrap.php
.
My hosting provider checked, and they don’t recognize the file. Wordfence support said they’ve seen it before and advised me to “Include” it during firewall optimization.
I found another forum post from someone with the exact same issue a year ago, and Wordfence also told them to “Include” the file. I just want to be 100% sure before confirming the setup.
My questions before I confirm the setup:
1⃣ Does anyone know for sure if this file is safe to include?
2⃣ Could this be coming from WordPress core, a CDN, or another security layer?
3⃣ If my host doesn’t recognize it but Wordfence detects it, should I be concerned?
I’ve already backed up my site just in case. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I have an SMTP plugin installed. I have created that mailbox in my back end, and I have connected it to the SMTP plugin. I have tested outgoing messages with SMTP and it is sending out the test okay. I have also installed a Mail Logging plugin which is registering all outgoing information for every email with the site as the origin. However no data is recorded there for the registration forms. It appears like no data is being processed by UM emailing.
When I fill in my details in the register form, no email is being received by neither the user who signed up, nor the site administrator, as expected. How can I troubleshoot this?
]]>After updating to the newest version of WP Forms Lite, the website of an client gets an Critical Error message. First I have look up in the Error Logs (in the control panel DirectAdmin) what′s going on, and saw something cause an error by WP Forms Lite on numberline 343: (*….)/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/wpforms.php on line 343
I have downgraded to WP Forms Lite plugin to the previous version, as an temporarily solution.
Good to know: The website is running on the latest version of WordPress 6.7.1 and PHP version running 8.2 (I have downgrade to 8.1 and 8.0 and also 7.4 to troubleshoot), same issue with the plugin.
*Due the GDPR reason; I cannot share the full url of my client′s website and the whole error log.
Thanks in advance.

]]>I am struggling with my website . I want to edit the Header and footer of my WP website but the editor option on the appearance tab is not showing
I am on wp VER 6.7.1 using theme ASTRA 4.8.10 (free version).
I have tried everything mentioned on various WP forums like deactivating and re-activating plug ins , clearing cache , updating the theme and its details which mention PHP 5 and above (also updated) and checking the file edit details on my hosting provider platform. Yet the WP admin page appearance tab doesn’t show the header footer editor.
How should I fix this?
Does anyone know a way to manually sync Woocommerce orders from legacy wordpress to High Performance order storage? I have tried many different things including disabling all plugins, rolling back Php version, and more. I’ve of course tried to enable compatibility mode among other things. No matter what I do, the orders won’t sync. Is there a way I can manually do this in Php admin, or is there another thing people have tried to get orders to sync?
