Using Tribe Commerce for Event Tickets.
I have now also rolled back to previous version of Events Calendar to see if this resolves issue?
]]>Since Aug 17, 2021, no new ticket sales are added to the event’s Attendees page. All tickets sold up to that point had been processed normally.
On Aug 17, I was running The Events Calendar 5.8.1, Event Tickets 5.1.6.
On Aug 18, before becoming aware of the issue, I upgraded to TEC 5.8.2, ET 5.1.7. The issue persists.
WordPress is at 5.8
Looking at Instant Payment Notification (IPN) history in PayPal, I see that all transacations prior to Aug 17 have status of Sent and all since then have status of Resending. During this period I have made no changes to PayPal, to the plug-in setups, or to the event itself. What else could have impacted the communication from PayPal back to the Event Tickets listener? Is there a way to examine the information available in the PayPal log and use it to debug what is happening on the Event Tickets side?
BTW, I have read your response to Sky Shabatura’s ticket “Tribe Commerce: Tickets paid but not shown” last month, but I don’t accept that it should be necessary to switch from Tribe Commerce to Woo Commerce. If Tribe is not prepared to stand behind your current PayPal solution (Tribe Commerce), why offer it? And if you believe it is necessary to rewrite the free Tribe Commerce component, should the alternative not also be free? Besides, what faith should I place in a paid Tribe plug-in if the free one doesn’t work?
I run this website for a non-profit organization with limited funds.
When you click “Get Tickets” the window pops up. After clicking “Checkout Now” the window closes and this error is displayed.

I have tribe commerce activated and a sandbox PayPal saved. Purchasing was working before we upgraded to Event Tickets Plus. I believe one transaction may have worked but no fields were shown to enter the attendees information.
It is a live site that is actively taking bookings from vendors so I can’t disable plugins or switch the theme. WP and all plugins are updated to the the latest version.
I have tried events with one ticket and with two that share capacity.
Any ideas??
Many Thanks!
Have a a wonderful day,
Ben
I am using Version: 4.10.4.4
Hi
I am using the Event Tickets along with The Events Calendar, i want to sell tickets online using the Tribe Commerce with PayPal
I have followed all the details provided and enable the IPN and redirect on on the paypal account, but unfortunately i am not redirected to PayPal page from the event page after submitting the BOOK NOW and it will take me back to the home page.
I am using the Avada Theme
]]>Currently testing the event ticket solution before switching to Ticket Plus.
Do you think it would be possible to add russian ruble to the list of currencies managed by tribe commerce as this currency is well managed by Paypal?
Thank you,
Louis,
]]>But when I click to purchase, I am taken to a PayPal shopping cart where I can purchase as many tickets as I like (e.g., 12), and then PayPal will let me buy them!
Is there a place to forbid changing the quantity in the PayPal Shopping cart?
Or what do you recommend?
Thanks,
Bill
]]>I’m using Events Calendar free plugin with Paypal payments via Tribe Commerce.
My payment is successful, client is getting redirected to Success page showing his invoice number.
But I don’t see any orders if I go to event details and check View Orders. Neither I see attendee list there.
Please help.
