Incompatible Archive.: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure
First backup with Total Upkeep. I made a backup. All is well. I got an email message. I downloaded zip archive and saved it on my computer.
Automatic backup
I made all settings for automatic backup. Went to sleep. I check my inbox in the morning. I did not receive a confirmation email. On the website I see that there is a backup, but it is not a complete backup, it is only a small part (usually 5-10%), the database is missing.
I go to the settings, change the day or time, set the automatic backup to the nearest 5 minutes. Backup succeeds.
But tomorrow is no longer like that. The backup (second) will fail and I will not receive any email notification.
I check everything
I check everything. Everything works as it should. I don’t see a limit on the server. LiteSpeed server, System zip, Functionality test status: Pass.
I’m trying again
I’m trying to do a manual backup. The backup was interrupted. In other words, the backup was made and there is only a small part of the files inside. Again, and again. Same thing.
Troubleshooting
I followed all the instructions. I’ve tried everything. I even replaced the backup folder. Without success.
It is always an unidentified error. Nothing else.
Deactivation and activation
I deactivated the Total Upkeep plugin, deleted it, reinstalled it, activated it, and re-entered the settings (when deactivating and deleting, the plugin loses my settings).
After the settings, the <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>first backup always succeeds. Second failed.
There’s something strange
If there is any limitation on the server then it will be constant. It wouldn’t work even once. However, the first backup always succeeds. There are too many users with similar “bug” (or is it really a bug) queries that have not been resolved. I would not look for an error on the server but in the Total Upkeep plugin. Something is wrong with the plugin. The first backup always succeeds. The following backup failed. This is how it turns out that I need to save the settings before every backup (regardless of manual or automatic). Or delete and reactivate the plugin. A simple manual backup is a problem. Automatic backup does not work without tricks. It is no automatic.
Why?
Thanks in advance. Regards,
The page passes verification. Everything is fine on the server. All similar backup/restore/migrate plugins work fine. Total UpKeep is stubborn.
Uninstalling and reinstalling. The first backup succeeds, each subsequent one failed.
Sorry, this plugin is not working.
In the beginning, it is important to go through all the details in the settings. It’s as if you persistently want the GPS to take you to an address, but you “don’t have time” to enter the address. And then face the mistakes. This happened to me a few days ago when I quickly started a backup without going through all the items in the settings. A message appeared that an undefined error had occurred.
This is like a Rolls Royce. It is important that you enter the settings, the plugin works independently.
The plugin works in a way that is more than my expectations. This is the second line of “defense” for your website. You can restore everything if something goes wrong. I first started a manual backup and I can admit that I like what I see in the “zip” archive. This is an exact clone of my website. That’s exactly what I want.
After seeing how it works I set it to automatic backup, at night time when I expect the least traffic to the website. Instead of checking what, when and how it was done, I get notifications by email. Great!
Hopefully I won’t need to migrate so soon. But for backup/restore I think this is a complete hit. From now on this is one of my favorites that will go on every one of my websites.
What can be improved here? I do not know. Probably nothing. Everything works as it should. Clean and simple navigation. There are no intrusive advertisements and calls to purchase the Premium version. I will not say that the plugin is the simplest because it is not. But it is one of the most reliable. That’s for sure.
There is no limit to the size of the website. I hope this plugin will remain free forever and no restrictions will be imposed.
I have no reason to look for another backup/restore/migrate plugin. I’m glad I gave this plugin a chance. What I got in return is immeasurable.
I understand how to make a backup and restore. However, I didn’t find anything about changing the domain. I want to transfer the page to another server/domain (from localhost to XAMPP to live domain). How does it work? Can you explain me in basic steps?
What about login data (new domain, new username, new password, new database,…)? Can this be done through this plugin?
I haven’t used this plugin, but I’m seriously considering starting to use it. I just need a little more information. Thanks in advance.
The link you followed has expired
When I disable the plugin, the problem goes away.
Has anyone found a fix for this?

I’ve Deactivated and Deleted plugin, and reinstalled it, but is getting same error.
Can this delayed update/backup be made to happen at night?
It seems there is a lot of control already so this added parameter shouldn’t be more difficult.
Please let me know!
Thanks!
