Change Flags in top bar to the left

I am using Gtranslate and have placed the flags in my top bar menu. Despite using the “widget look” “flags” I only see 1 flag. I would also like to place the flags on the left side in the topbar. Does anyone have any idea how I can get this done? Thanks in advance for the effort!!!

I want to add a search icon with dropdown just like the one in main menu but at the topbar. I tried to use the shortcode but it adds a form input field.

How can I do that?

Blank space before top bar when using child theme

Hello. When I activate the child theme, when I open the page the top bar appears displaced, and above it a large white space. That space disappears (the top bar moves up) when I scroll the page.

This problem does not occur with the parent theme, only when I activate the child theme. I don’t have any customization on the child theme styles. I have tried to correct it with this:

.page .post-inner {
  padding-top: 0;
}

But the problem persists.

News ticker not showing in top bar widget

As you can see in the linked page, ditty widget not showing news ticker correctly. It shows only in page content, not in top bar.
The theme is generatepress free.

Do you need more details to fix?

The theme I used to create my website has a banner on the top of every page and I can’t figure out how to remove it. I searched already in other forums but the solution where the Theme customise page has a dedicated top bar menu, doesn’t work for me. (i don’t have that kind of option.

It’s already happened several times: the wp-admin topbar was cached and shown on front (!) of the website to all visitors. Luckely without the functionalities, but it look awful and confusing for visitors.

OK so I am using the Kadence template. I am trying to create an green empty top bar strip within the header that is just above the navigation using the customiser. However, it seems that without content, the row is invisible. However, I just want a green bar above the navigation.

Happened to be editing a post while i’m on a #Linux system viewing on a Smart TV via HDMI. I have the resolution set to 1280 x 1024. I like the Top toolbar feature because I think it greatly speeds up certian processes, depending on what you’re doing I guess (there are a few situations where it’s better to not have the bar glued to the top).

No ta support question really. Just wanted to suggest you adjust the CSS so that red button is more topmost than the top-bar links/ controls, because they get in the way and prevent clicking the red. I think it has a collapsed mode (i guess you’d say “it acts responsively”), if i recall correctly.

Just sharing the experience. As you can see below, disabling the top bar puts everything back to normal for all intents and purposes. I expected it would be a pain and not desirable to have the display settings at that resolution, but I think I like it better than full blast at 1900 x ???. I had been using an in between 16:9 setup, but i think things function better this way for me on this hardware. In any case, it’s pretty good design, i’d say, to be able to pretty much do whatever without any noticeable handicap having so much less screen real estate. Something to take note of in terms of interface design. I don’t think the Classic Editor is likely to “feel” that way.
