When closing the popup, page scrolls to the top

Hi,

Here’s my problem :

1. A user comes on my website, starts to read and scrolls down the page.
2. After 20 seconds, my popup is displayed.
3. When the user closes the popup, it automatically brings him/her back to the top of the page and he/she loses their scrolling progress.

I’d like the user to stay exactly where he/she was in the page when the popup was closed. How can this be done?

Everytime I click on a part of the forminator-form, the page automatically scrolls up towards the top of the page. How can I ensure the page will stick to the position where the form is?

Is there a way to designate a “Post” on my website to be sort of “pinned” to the top of my index, such that other posts that will then be done in the future are posted underneath this “pinned” one? Think similarly to how facebook and twitter allow this for Business/Organization Pages/Accounts on those two platforms.

I’m using WordPress 5.3.2 running Twenty Seventeen theme.

Hello,

I have seen the answers from before on this subject and it was a matter of upgrade. Nevertheless, I am using WP 3.5.1 and mp3-jplayer 1.8.4 and still have this situation where upon clicking on the song in playlist the actual click puts me on the top of the page. And when I go back on the playlist and do a mouse over, at the end of the link/address there is “#” (?!?!?).

This is my shorcode: [mp3-jplayer tracks=”BasicID01.mp3, BasicID02.mp3, BasicID03.mp3″ width=”410px” title=”Essential Package” list=”y” style=”text noscreen”]

But when I place a short code [mp3j track=”BasicID01.mp3″] and click on it, the link is dead (nothing happens).

Hi,

I am relatively new to WordPress – I have just written my first post.

Could you please help me resolve the following issue:

I am using the “Emerald Stretch” template on wordpress. Every time someone clicks on “Comment” to leave a comment to a post, the person is taken to the top of the page and they have to scroll down to the comment form to leave a comment.

And a similar problem when they hit the “Submit” button – instead of the person being taken to the bottom of the post where they can see their comment, they are taken to the top of the page and they have to scroll down to see their comment.

What code can I use in the template files to change this action. Although I am a beginner I am picking up how to change the code as I go.
