Hello,

I have a WooCommerce website with lots of products. When generating XML sitemap posts are split into months, but still one xml contains more than 50.000 products, which produces an error in google. Is it possible to split xml into smaller pieces?

Too many URLs on page – error?

I decided to check the validity of my meta tags and in the analysis it informed me I have more than 100 URLs on most of my pages.

I am assuming these are navigation links.
(I might link out to 3 or 4 helpful sites and I also have images from my Media Library and some links to banner advertising but nothing approaching 100 outbound links)

My navigation is a mess but I only show the categories, not all the posts (but each category has a post count, so maybe that is it)

Anyway, how do I fix something like that? Unless I delete a bunch of posts.
Wouldn’t the solution require me to change site architecture?

Right now it is:
Index > All Posts
would going to
Index > Category > Posts
fix it.
Or is there a better way. I certainly hope so.

Sitemap has errors: Too many URLs

Getting the following error when Google tries to index my sitemaps:

“Your Sitemap contains too many URLs. Please create multiple Sitemaps with up to 50000 URLs each and submit all Sitemaps.
Line: 580869”

I was under the impression that this plugin could make multiple sitemaps but I don’t see the option anywhere, and it’s not doing this automatically. I’d like to be able to divide sitemaps into groups of 10,000 if possible. (even 50,000 would work though it gets really slow)

Hi,
I have been having a problem with too many urls showing up on my page. I pulled my tag cloud, which helped, and I plan on removing my sidebar navigation (that won’t change too much). One of the biggest culprits in this abundance of urls seems to be global translator. I don’t want to remove it, since about a third of my traffic is international.

I wanted to know if any of the link plugins, could solve my url problem, yet still allow dofollow on comments & not foul up affiliate links.

I have 180 urls showing up in metatag analysis, and they say anything over a hundred is awful.
