Just created a website in wordpress and am using Yoast SEO Plugin. Have a little confusion. I have added the Title and Meta Description in all the Pages using the edit snippet. These Title and Description are based on Keywords which will help the page to show up in search results.
Then I came across this in SEO=>Search Appearance=>Content Types in which there is “Title Template” and “Meta Description Template”. What is the purpose of this field? Should I leave it empty as I have already added Title and Desc in All Pages

I would like to exclude sitename(and separator) from the title on Facebook share context. I can do that by entering title to the og:title field per post, but because we have lots of authors and lot of content published, I would like to automate that. So what I need is to set the default template for og:title to %%title%%, how to get that done? Is there a filter for that? I searched for settings, but didn’t find default template for og:title.

I taked a look on settings from the market page and it’s everything already configurated. Can you help me please?

This is the title template for posts/pages or anything else: %%title%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%
I completed the configuration wizard, plus, under General > Company Info menu I filled in the current website name.
What I am missing?

I’ve set SEO title (under Yoast SEO) to be <certain text>, though the page referenced at https://www.bearthemusic.com/courses/ has title appearing as ‘Courses Archive’.
I wish to have just ‘Courses’ as title without the wording ‘Archive’.

With Default Yoast Seo Plugin Setup my site shows post title like:
My Post Title – Mysite
How can I setup the Yoast Seo post Title Template to show the title with my post Year tag filed? So If I insert “2015” in Year tags in my post I want to title appear like this:
My Post Title 2015 – Mysite
My current post Title Template is:
%%title%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%
What do I have to add in that so that it will automatically add “year” tag filed with every post?
