Did something change at Akismet?

Akismet has threatened to suspend my account but isn’t responding to my replies or support tickets.

I had an email off akismet threatening to suspend my account if I don’t upgrade to a pro subscription.

They’re saying my site is for a commercial organisation, when it’s a personal blog. I’ve asked them which part suggests the site is commercial when it’s personal, but they haven’t replied.

Looking through the documentation, it’s saying I need a key in order to use it, yet it’s been working fine for years, so if it needs this key surely they must have allowed it in the first place.

I’ve deactivated it temporarily and replaced it with another anti-spam plugin in the meantime, but if there’s an akismet support thread on here, I’d be grateful if someone could point me towards it.

After I have installed your plugin, I realized that posts are published without our permission. Is there possibility that myStickMenu plugin could be infected by threats?

Hi,

When I scan al the wordpress folder found threats on js folder and when I clean it all the folders dissapear ans now its empty.

Can I do something to ad the archives?

I purchased their $199 plugin and monthly subscription plan with the understanding it would work on all of my websites. Imagine my dismay when I found out it was for something called “multi-site” NOT for multiple sites. Customer service is TERRIBLE and when asking for help, I was THREATENED that I wouldn’t receive support on ANY of the previous products I purchased previously! I cannot believe how poorly they have treated me and to now threaten me?! BUYER BEWARE. This company does NOT care about their customers and will resort to threats if you ask for help!

Hi,

i have recently install (yesterday) your plugin and i made a first whole scan of my sites. It found potential threats over 80 and it was keep on going. I can’t seem to find a way of deleting these files (don’t know if ti must). Do i need to register first so it can shows the specific button or something else? Can you help me with this?
