Premium Theme "TheStyle" plus travelmap plugin

Hi all,

I’m new to this so please be patient.

I have just created a domain name for my blog ending in .net.
I recently purchased a premium theme called “TheStyle” from elegant themes via wordpress.com

I also wanted to install a plugin called travel map and learned it was not possible in wordpress.com, I therefore cancelled wordpress.com and got a refund.

I would like to install my theme (TheStyle) and also the plugin into wordpress but apparently www.remarpro.com does not accept premium themes. Is this correct?

I have seen two wordpress blogs using both theme and plugin I’m after so it can be done but I have no idea how. Any ideas

Hello! It’s my first time writing on here so I hope I got the right place.

I’ve got this awesome theme – TheStyle – which I’m really impressed with but there are a few niggles that I want to refine to get the blog I want.

1) Featured Content Slider – I would like this on my homepage (not in posts, widget areas or pages) under my menu row. Is there a plugin that will enable me to do this?

2) I would like to change the layout of the homepage. I want to keep the format and the grid style, but I would like to introduce sections and columns on the homepage to separate each Category/tag from the other with boxes and a title of the section on top. I’ve tried page builders but I don’t want to have the full-width page format as I want to keep the background and style of the gridding. How do I do this?

3) I would like to embed an introductory video on the right of my logo. Is there a way to do this?

4) Finally, this make me sound stupid but how do I get the post titles in the grid box to be full rather than cut halfway through and leave ‘…’.

Your help would be much appreciated. I’ve tried resolving the issue beforehand for a couple of weeks but makes me want to rip my hair out haha.

Hello… I’m using the Elegant Theme, TheStyle and I need a Slider or Carousel for the front page, but not on all the other pages… any ideas HOW??? Thanks!!

Padding problem TheStyle theme installation

Hey everyone,

i installed TheStyle theme without any problem or error, but the layout is not 100% the way it should be:

– in the orginal version there’s some padding between the different posts: see https://www.elegantthemes.com/demo/?theme=TheStyle

– that padding is missing on my page(s): https://www.mintonline.be/mint/

I checked the CSS with firebug, and adjusted some paddings…but no luck.

I’m probably overlooking some silly thing, but i can’t seem to find out what to change.

If anyone can help out: big thanks in advance!

Category Post Control

I am looking for way to control posts on front page. Posts are by category and I would like the latest post to go to front page and existing post to be bumped back to 2nd page.

I am using TheStyle Theme which allows me to have 10 posts, thats my setting, on the front page. I am using Category’s to separate my agents whose posts are on front page. When they add a new post I only want one post per category on front page.

Is this possible?
