URGENT Unable to edit pages with WordPress 6.4.2 Update

Hello,

We have been having trouble with our website since last night when our WordPress version updated. At first, navigating to any page besides the home page would lead to a 404 error. This was fixed when we restored our website via backup.

However, we are still unable to make urgent page changes to our website. On the backend, clicking the “edit” button will lead to a white screen. Clicking the “Beaver Builder” page edit button will lead to the page–but it will not let us edit (the page is from a normal website visitor’s point of view).

As of now, our Beaver Builder Themer and Plugin are versions 1.4.8 and versions 2.7.3.2. Because we have recieved the notice that it is unclear the new versions (1.4.9 and 2.7.4) work with our current version of WordPress, we are waiting for the reassurance that they are compatible.

Does anyone have any solutions to this issue? Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Conditional logic based on Pods fields seems to have changed

For a long time we have been using Beaver Themer + Pods with conditional logic to control the visibility of rows, columns or modules, e.g. “show this row if field X is set” or “show this module if field X is not set”.

This seems to have stopped working recently.

Now, we’re having to do workarounds, such as creating a extra checkbox field and using “equals 1” in the conditional logic to control visibility, or “contains https://” for a URL field that should only be displayed if it has a value.

Not sure if it’s a Pods problem, a Themer problem, or a problem in this plugin. Happy to repost to BB or Pods if its not related to this plugin.

I find myself looking for projects where I can specifically use Pods and Themer together. It is making it so much easier and more interesting. Makes it easy for me and my clients which is a big bonus! Plus excellent support!!!

Issue with Pods and Using BB Themer-Assigning Themer Layouts

I am having an issue where i am trying to set up a CPT southern-paddler and i have children post under it . in wordpress it looks right the post urls are right, looks right in yoast breadcrumb, but the issue is assigning Beavebuilder template to southern-paddler. I can assign it to (southern-paddler – all southern-paddler) and it shows correct on all the new post. I have created another themer template for southern-paddler so i can show all the post listed under it with a post content module, but i can Not assign it to southern-paddler.

The question, do i not have this set up right to do this?
I just want to be able to assign templates for southern-paddler
and then one for all the children under southern-paddler
and one for the categories of southern-paddler
seems like it should be strait forward but i just cant make it work.

when i select southern-paddler parent i have to select one of the children
when i select ancestor i have to select one of the children
when i select southern-paddler all southern-paddler it displays only on the children.

It is almost like it is acting backwards from how i need it to work.

I haven’t ye been able to see anything on the categories, just says nothing found when i click and go to them com/category/lake-kayaking/

Could you possibly point me in the right direction? I appreciate your time and love PODS

Thanks Didou for this great add-on. But in my opinion this should be in the core of Themer. I asked the BB guys a couple of times, until now they did not. So thanks, this one will for sure help many of us.

The Builder is Great and so is Support

I’ve used other builders and ended up with almost 20 plugins, so I tore down the whole site and rebuilt with Beaver Builder (BB) and Themer, and now I can get away with about 10 plugins. BB is easy to use and the modules/features are good looking!

I’ve not needed much support because BB is solid. But today, I found an error in my log files and BB went above the call of duty to solve this problem. It’s amazing where the problem was and how they were willing to resolve the issue. They are a darn good investment! Good people work at this company and they are knowledgeable about what’s going on! I’d like to keep them a secret but they deserve recognition.

Cannot intergrate manually with Beaver Builder or Beaver Themer

Hi, I hope this is the correct place to post this. I recently purchased quadmenu Pro version direct from your site and a selling point that attracted me was that it has a 6 hour response support time. But I submitted one yesterday approx 20 hours ago and still no reply Number – #16196

I have now added a more in depth support request Number – 16206, if you could check it out that would be great thanks, Love the look and ease of Quad menu …I just cant get it working correctly.

I am having so much trouble integrating this manually in a row or column where I choose with Beaver theme and specifically using Beaver Themer for custom layouts, can you please respond to my support No 16206 asap,

The new Elementor 2.0 is Blowing All Other Page Builders Out of the Water!

Been using Elementor for 5 months. It’s a game changer for sure. I used other builders before, Thrive Architect, Visual Composer, Divi… Nothing comes close to the speed, beauty and functionality. Now with CPT integration and ability to build templates for posts and archive pages and headers/footers it’s like I’m a kid in a candy store! I’m excited to see the new widgets they will release for more integration with dynamic content in ACF and CPTs. I def have more use cases that could benefit from deeper integration, which is coming.

I do miss one thing from Thrive which was breadcrumbs navigation/selection for different parts of the hierarchy of the page you’re building, like section – row – column – content box – widget/element. Sometimes it’s hard to select Elementor’s sections, especially if they are up top or have negative margins and are layered with other sections.

Not Compatible with Beaver Themer

Not compatible with Beaver Builder Themer. Removes sidebars and adds them to the foot of page when you try to create a new themer layout. Hope the developer can fix this since it is a great plugin otherwise.

The talked about its advancement, growth and ease of integration with Beaver Builder. So yesterday I gave Pods another shot and WOW! It’s certainly come a long way. In a short amount of time I was able to create a massive web of interlinked and related tables which together generate over 1 million potential product combinations for a client. It’s truly powerful! And its power is all contained within one tightly packed and cohesive plugin.
