I am using Marquee theme for sportspress. It comes with a cool little post slider, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to format pictures. currently post feature image is expanding extremely large.

How can I modify the plugin to automatically keep the pictures size within the frame of the gallery.

Ics not syncing with Google Calendar

I saw a few of the same issues some time ago but to no resolution on this issue. When an event’s day/time is changed, the google calendar is not updating no matter how long I wait. I can see added headers included from some time ago – header( ‘Etag:’ . ‘”‘ . $etag . ‘”‘ ); and this does not help. Additionally, when I inspect the headers through curl, the timezone is incorrect (using GMT). The ‘LAST-MODIFIED:’ is also using GMT when exported. This causes those dates to be in the future (using GMT -5 – America/New_York). I also see there is no “SEQUENCE:” in the file. Has anyone had any success with syncing using google calendar? The .ics file looks to be correct but does not ever update the event time/day. Even after I delete and add the calendar again.

I would like to change the colours for the countdown widget. I want the ‘next game’ title to be black background, white text. I want all remaining text to be black with a white background. Also are you able to remove the “ part of the match title.

Expand Shop page width & remove template lines

Hi.
I have a Rookie Plus theme I purchased and I installed Woocommerce.

I added some CSS to remove the right sidebar on the shop page.
However, the Rookie theme is still showing a limited width and 2 vertical lines down the page.
I would like to increase the width and remove those 2 lines.

Is this possible? If anyone can please assist me, I would greatly appreciate it!
I thought I would tag Roch (@rochesterj) as you were very helpful before.

Just purchased the Football Theme by Themeboy, had a question

Just had a question regarding the Themeboy theme I purchased called Football Club. I purchased it specifically for the fact that I want to ensure the SportsPress plug-in functions properly (had a mishap with another theme, long story hahaha). Just want to make sure it will function properly for an ice hockey leage/team. So here’s a feq questions I have.

1) How would you guys best recommend installing the theme? Shall I use an FTP program like FileZilla?

2) I’ve noticed some people have had issues with using the SportsPress plug-in on their websites when it comes to updating the plug-in. Being that the theme I purchased was made by Themeboy (the makers of the SportsPress plug-in), what recommendations do you have with regards to updating the theme or the SportsPress plug-in when needed and also how should I handle updating other separate stand-alone plug-ins such as Visual Composer (should I update the plug-in via the wordpress dashboard)? Just wanted to make sure everything is on the up-and-up and that I don’t encounter any unusual problems.

3) What should I do if I have a older theme that has SportsPress installed? Do I simply de-activate the theme from the wordpress dashboard and activate the Football Club theme? What about the plug-ins? Will the plug-ins that came pre-installed with my old theme still show up on my plug-ins list on my wordpress dashboard after I deactivate the old theme? Just want to make sure everything is functioning properly.

? Hide the title for this item – Not selected
? Heading colored text box has title in it.
2 . Selecting view league table link…
? Title is displayed and title is displayed in colored header
3 . Changing the Hide the title for this item to being selected
4. Clicking on update
6. Clicking on view league table link…
? Title is not displayed AND heading colored text box is not displayed

How can I get the league table title to not display; but, display the 2 color colorful league table title?

Extra space above header?

Does anyone know how to bring the header closer to the top of the page? Example of the site I’m working on here: www.playpuresports.com

You can see that there’s a bit of space above the header image, a bit more than I would really like.

Any help on how to cut down on the extra space above it? Sorry if this is an obvious one, I don’t have a ton of experience running WordPress sites! Thanks in advance!

Themeboy player stats

Have on my webpage league tables and various competitions set up, it took a while to get the tables to auto update when scores were input to the events.
Now i would like to have a player list of league top scorers, a friend is collecting all the scorers for this list and has them compiled in an excel.
I have set up the player list named :league top scorers.
However when i add numbers for try’s scored, conversions etc. (rugby)
they do not automatically update the total points.
I’ve checked the settings and as the equations are there for the league tables, should they not automatically carry over to the player list?
I’d rather not update each event with the relevant scorer as it will take too long.
