]]>I recently migrated my WordPress website from ebcmindset.com to vps.ebcmindset.com using Migrate Guru. While the migration process completed successfully and all my content appears to be present, I am facing an issue with the theme.
After the migration, when I visit my new site (vps.ebcmindset.com), it loads the default WordPress theme instead of the theme that was actively in use before the migration. I have checked the WordPress admin panel, and the correct theme is not activated, but rather the default theme is being used. It seems that the migration process has somehow set the default theme as the active one, despite the fact that it was not in use on the original site.
Here are the steps I’ve taken so far:
- Completed the migration using Migrate Guru.
- Verified that the content and database are all intact.
- Checked the active theme in the WordPress admin panel (it’s not the one I was using before the migration).
- Tried reactivating the correct theme, but the site still defaults to the basic WordPress theme.
Issue:
- After the migration, the website loads the default WordPress theme, even though the active theme prior to migration was correctly set on the original site.
- It seems like the migration tool hasn’t properly preserved the theme settings.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any solutions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing an issue with the mobile menu in the Hotelone theme, which I am using on my website. The menu on mobile devices is displayed as a list of links, instead of a dropdown menu as it should be.
I have tried the following steps:
- Checked Theme Settings: I went through the settings under
Appearance>Customize, but I did not find any options for customizing the mobile menu. - Added Custom CSS: I added CSS code to hide the main menu on mobile devices and display the mobile menu, but the issue persists.
- Modified Theme Files: I made changes to
header.phpandfunctions.php, but the desired changes did not take effect. - Added JavaScript: I included JavaScript to activate the dropdown menu, but there was no change.
- Deactivated All Plugins: I tried deactivating all active plugins and then reactivating them, but the issue remains. I have since reverted everything to its original state.
Questions:
- Is it possible that the Hotelone theme has specific settings that affect the mobile menu? If so, where exactly can I find these settings?
- Are there any specific modifications I should make to the Hotelone theme to ensure that the mobile menu displays correctly as a dropdown?
- Could you recommend any specific plugin or method that could help me customize the mobile menu?
