I’m not a coder and looking at the code makes no sense to me. Anyone know what’s causing it.

BTW, I have the same plugins on another site I manage. Both use the same theme, both hosted by the same company and, I believe, both on the same server. The other site does not have this problem at all.

I’ve tried deactivating plugins but it does not affect this — so it’s not plugins. I’ve tried using the default themes (2012, 2013, etc.) and it still does this.

I just set up a subdomain, did a WordPress install, activated it and then I copied over the plugins and theme that were on the main site to the subdomain. The idea is the sites will look and function the same, but they’ll have some different content on them.

So after I did this and activated the theme on the subdomain, I went back to the main site and the theme has disappeared from the admin. The plugins are gone from the admin as well and there are error messages for each one: the plugin does not exist.

And yet, I’m looking at all the files – the plugins and the theme files – in both site folders on my FTP site.

The theme is Tempera.
The sites are https://www.heartsofatherhood.org/ and https://racine.heartsofatherhood.org

The entire folder just vanishes and is wiped from the server. There have been no recent updates or plugins added, it’s just gone. The only time I know this happens is when I get a complaint from the client saying their site won’t appear.

I re-upload the themes folder from my computer and everything goes back to normal… but I can’t figure out what keeps wiping it from the online server. They use Arvixe.com for their server.

Any ideas on what to do here? If I delete the folders/files off the server, what am I looking for? Is this what I have to do?

While the home page looks great, with other pages the theme disappears entirely and defaults to the ‘classic’ wordpress theme.

The main modification that I made is that I added a Twitter widget. Could this be the problem?

Does anyone have any suggestions? I would like the theme to remain consistent on all the pages.

Every couple days my WP site or my WP theme (not sure what’s causing the problem), completely disappears. So when I visit my blog, it’s a blank page. All databases/content is in tact, rather the blog goes blank.

I have to then go into the “Presentation” tab of the WP admin and click my theme again and the site will reappear. This has been happening for over a month and I can’t figure out what’s causing it.

Anyone out there have the same issue or any suggestions on how to solve it?
