Issue with css not working on all my text boxes

Hello!

So my issue is that I dont get the css to apply to all my text fields, here is what I mean in this picutre:

Text and text boxes not rendering correctly on mobile

I published a web story today that looked perfect on the preview. However, when I went to view the same story on mobile to make sure that everything was appearing properly, the text and background text boxes are not correct. It looks like the text box is not covering the entire text and the text is not structured how I had it.

After checking this web story, I went to view all of my web stories on mobile and it looks like this issue is across the board. It also happens when using both Google Chrome mobile and Safari mobile. I have also noticed this issue when using other mobile devices. Please note that I do not notice it when viewing my web stories on desktop–only on mobile, and this is the first time I’ve seen this issue (I published a web story as recently as two weeks ago with no problems). Both my WordPress and web stories plug in are up to date.

Toward the bottom of the screenshot showing the Charitize template there are text boxes and the headlines for each is blue. Does the blue indicate this is a link to another web page?

Images not loading, text boxes are inaccurate

Hi, I’ve had an impossible time loading images onto the story template. I can upload into media galleriy but it will not load or refresh or do anything except “keep loading” without realizing. Also, the text boxes feel like a moving target, I can’t place my cursor on the box and write my text as usual. It feels off completely.

Bugged text boxes in newsletter Drag & Drop composer

Hello,

So my client is trying to edit one of his newsletter templates, and somehow he got some bugged text boxes that can’t be moved or deleted — see screenshot here:

I’m really not sure how these got there, but they can’t be removed for some reason. I guess he can just create a new template, but then he’ll have to start over. Any ideas what might be the problem and how we can get rid of these? I don’t see any errors in the console and plugin is updated to most recent version.

Set colour to block background

I am working on a web site for the local Priory Church – work in progress!
The background colour of the text block of the home page is #ddd4b3 – the same as the general background. However in all other pages the text block background is white and I can’t see how to make that the same as the Home page (or any other colour for that matter).
Early days with both WordPress and Elementor so I am no doubt missing the obvious. I’d be grateful if someone could point me to the obvious!

I’ve tried asking for help numerous times but, for some reason, can’t seem to get anyone to answer questions although I see most other questions answered.

I can’t find good plug-ins for a contact form, the ability to jump from a header directly to the content, and one for using text boxes for quotes and testimonials. I’ve tried various ones but nothing seems to work properly. Client most likely won’t pay for the plug-ins so I need something free or at least very low cost.

The quotes option that comes standard with WP would be fine except that the quote mark is backward. Can anyone please help??????

For some reason I can’t get any of the text box plug-ins to work properly so I’m trying to use the standard quote box that comes with WP. Unfortunately, the beginning quote mark is backward so I need to change that (otherwise, I think it might work for this client). Can someone tell me how to make the open quote mark correct? The website is www.criglobal.com/testimonials. You’ll also see the first quote box is different since I tried someone else’s quick and easy quote box but it’s not quite as nice as we would like. Here’s the current coding:

Need good TextBox (for testimonials) plugin

I’m developing and/or rebuilding several websites for a client and need a good plug-in to use for testimonials. The only one that comes up in the plugin search is “Special Text Boxes” but I can’t get it to work properly (doesn’t look like my settings, and looks different on different browsers). Can anyone recommend an easy-to-use, free plugin that would be good for simple boxes to use for testimonials, etc.? This particular site is www.CRIGlobal.com.

BTW, what you see on the site (below the one I tried using STB, is the one that comes with WP, but the client doesn’t like it because the quote mark is backward at the beginning…

Setup Default Box for all text on site

i am trying to setup 1 style called default which i can use to put a 2px border around each of my text blocks. I dont want to use any gradient ( not sure how to disable this or just have it all on black )

I want to have an internal padding from the text to the border not sure if this a CSS part or something i can do in settings.
