Send Test Email Not Working

I have mail mint pro and I’m a new user and no matter what sort of campaign, automation etc. I create, the system does not send a test email.

I do not receive any errors and it says test email sent successfully in green.

Yet, no such email is ever sent and I’ve tried different email addresses and still nothing.

I need to get this resolved ASAP.

Hi there,

I have been using MailPoet for a year with no issues until today. I am trying to send a test email to myself but it won’t send. There is no error message, it says it’s been sent successfully. But when I check my email, it’s not there. I checked the spam. I troubleshooted using the methods here and I also checked the status under MailPoet > Help > System Status and it says “connection successful”. I tried sending it to one of my other email accounts too, in case it was a problem with my email provider. Any other ideas?

I keep receiving test emails nonstop, How to disable them?

Hello,
So I set up WP Mail SMTP with “Sendinblue” but now I am receiving constant test emails into my inbox within 2 hours I get over 14 test emails and the other day I go over 60 test emails.

Is there a way to disable the test emails?

Mailpoet Welcome email sending error

Hello,
I am attempting to set up a welcome email for list subscribers using mailpoet. However, when I click to send a test email I get the below error message. FYI My site is not live yet and my list only has two test subscribers.

The email could not be sent due to a technical issue with MailPoet: The email could not be sent: MailPoet Sending Service has been temporarily suspended for your site due to degraded email deliverability. Please contact our support team to resolve the issue.

Any help solving this will be much appreciated.

Cannot get emails to send?

Hello EM team,

The plugin is great and is doing everything I need it to! There’s just one exception. I can’t seem to get emails to send, and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve searched the past support forums and have tried:

Making sure that there’s an email address in all relevant fields in the email settings
Trying several different “mail sending methods” (WP Mail and PHP Mail Function, and SMTP). Clicking “test email settings” either results in a positive message (e.g. a test email has been sent successfully) but no email ever arrives, or I get a notice of a server error.
Installing WP Mail SMTP — this seems to work, I do get emails through that plugin
Disabling HTML emails in case that was the issue

Despite all this I can get neither test emails nor emails through the booking system to send. I’m not sure what else to try, and any help would be super appreciated.

Not receiving contact form messages

Hi,
Our contact form doesn’t receive messages from our customers. I’ve done a test email today and I didn’t receive it. In the past, we would get test emails but they would contain an Outlook error message. We are using a gmail email for the contact form.

May you see what the problem is? We haven’t been able to get this form to work for a while now.

How to Test if Jetpack Subscriptions is Working

I have Jetpack Subscriptions email boxes on multiple pages. I’ve had my site for a number of years and want to double-check that the service is working. However, I’ve exhausted all of my personal emails and Jetpack Subscriptions won’t send duplicates. Is there a way to test? I don’t want to be missing out on subscribers if there’s any issues.

I have subscription boxes on the following pages:

Note: The header for the main blog page runs on every page except the home page – so I’m not sure if it’s necessary to check this subscription box on every single page or just one?

Several issues – PHP 7 the reason?

Have upgraded to PHP 7, and have now read that MailPoet is not working properly in this environment. I thought I’d list the issues I have come across:

* The MailPoet subscription form throws an error.

Following some support answers, I checked with the host, who confirmed that no mod_security rule is triggered.

* Layout settings are not saved. Header and footer images, for example, don’t stick if one navigates away from a newsletter and back to it again.

* While text colours can be changed in individual entries, the Styles panel doesn’t work.

* Test emails don’t send, throwing a JSON error.
