I am unable to see my login page for wordrpress site, the message shown is:
The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
i did check my email and the last email and link i received was 2. 5 months ago…i was not using the website because of some family committments and exams and couldn’t login at that time, now that link has obviously expired, yesterday i tried and I got this message of technical difficulties. Now i don’t have an option to login. Steps i took are:
I tried to update my website to WordPress 5.6.2 – the latest version, but it only caused an error and now my website says ‘The site is experiencing technical difficulties.’
I got this but not quite sure what to do about it:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_unregister_GLOBALS() in /home/katkapho/public_html/wp-settings.php:65 Stack trace: #0 /home/katkapho/public_html/wp-config.php(91): require_once() #1 /home/katkapho/public_html/wp-load.php(37): require_once(‘/home/katkapho/…’) #2 /home/katkapho/public_html/wp-blog-header.php(13): require_once(‘/home/katkapho/…’) #3 /home/katkapho/public_html/index.php(17): require(‘/home/katkapho/…’) #4 {main} thrown in /home/katkapho/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 65
I changed the website to PHP 7.3 after I got the error. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

I’ve been having issues with my website’s blog. First it was giving me a error 500 due to a plugin conflict. I figured out the plugin, deactivated it, and the page reappeared. None of the posts were showing. I downloaded blog design codes, and the posts showed up, but the menu is missing.
Help?
]]>Error goes away if I disabled Nested Plugins.

My WordPress Address (URL) and my Site Address (URL) are different, so maybe that has something to do with it?
I’m using Version 3.1.7
]]>My plan is to manually rollback to 5.2.3, which worked fine with our site and see if I can firstly get back into it again and then secondly fix whatever bricks it under 5.2.4 before we head off into the sunny uplands of 5.3. However, before I try that I wanted to make sure not to mess things up further. So I would like guidance on how to
a) manually backup the site
b) manually rollback to 5.2.3
I am happy using FTP clients such as Filezilla and I have previously used them to setup a few non-WordPress site but given I am new-ish to this site and have done everything through the WP dashboard I want to make sure I know what I am doing before I start tinkering.
Any thoughts? Many thanks.
