However, when I make a test order which will then exceed the 10k sales mark, the translation rule doesn’t switch from “EU below 10k tax class” (with all same VAT percentages) to “EU tax class” (with different VAT percentages per country).
What could be the culprit here? I have the premium license of the plugin.
after every major Woocommerce update the usual tax classes “Zero Rate”, “Reduced Rate” etc. are set again. So far I have always removed them manually in the settings. Is there any way to permanently remove these tax classes using a filter in php? Especially when creating new products, it would help a lot if these additional tax classes would not be displayed in the selection list.
Thank you for your advice.
Kind regards
]]>How can I apply VAT only for digital/virtual products?
]]>The CSV generated has these columns: Date, Orders, Gross Sales, Returns, Coupons, Net Sales, Taxes, Shipping, Total Sales
1) I would like to add as many columns as my tax classes are set.
If I have as tax classes: “5%” and “20%”
So I would like to show two columns called “tax 5%” and “tax 20%”
2) In these columns I would like the total of products sold with those tax classes to be inserted.
If I have sold a € 100 product taxed at 20%, in the “tax 20%” column I would like to see € 120
If on day I sold 5 products of € 100 taxed at 20%, in the “tax 20%” column I would like to see 120 * 5 = € 600
How could I do?
thanks a lot
]]>This is my problem.
I have setup taxes, I selected Prices Including Tax, then I set up the tax classes. I used one rate for “Standard Rates” (Vat 24%), one for “Reduced” (Vat 13%), and one for “SuperReduced” (Vat 6%).
Now, when I edit a specific product, if I want it to have a 13% VAT, instead of the standard 24%, I should change the tax class in the product from “Standard” to “Reduced”, right?
Well, every time I do this, after I save changes, the tax class in the product reverts to “Standard”!!
I even tried to delete the rate in “Standard” to leave it empty, and made another class named “Regular” in which I created one rate for Vat 24%.
I tried again and the product still keeps the “Standard” tax class…
I am confused. I don’t think I am doing something wrong here, but I don’t see anyone else having this problem!
Any help will be appreciated.
]]>I tried to upload my first additional tax class yesterday. I uploaded the CSV in the appropriate additional tax class tab and saw a onscreen message saying import complete with the total number of imported tax rates and an “all done view tax rates” link. I went to view the tax rates and nothing was there, just a “no matching tax rates found.” I tried a few times with the same results.
Today, I tried again and this time I was able to view the imported table with my tax rates for that same additional tax class. I have tried uploading the remaining CSVs for the other additional tax classes and keep having the same issue. It says the import was successful, but when I go to view the link it says “no matching tax rates found.”
I’ve tried logging in and I have tried waiting to see if it eventually populates and still nothing. Any ideas what is wrong?
]]>I tried to find information to define “Zero Rate” and “Reduced Rate” tax and could not find anything to define it, not even on the WooCommerce site.
Can anyone define these tax rates please?
Thanks
]]>when I’m trying todo a batch update for tax classes of products, the value displayed in the select are “Standard”, “Reduced Rate” and “Zero Rate”. But these values are not present in my Tax Classes Settings, I have only “Standard” and a custom Class called “Zero Tasse”. So why Batch Update doesn’t takes my classes instead of standard woocommerce classes?
Thanks in advance.
]]>Funnily enough, the correct tax rate gets applied to a few products! We can’t tell why it works sometimes, and not others. So, for example, we can’t get the HST tax rate to apply to Toronto (https://shop.eitrainingcompany.com/product/eq-certification-toronto/) but we can get it to apply to Ottawa (https://shop.eitrainingcompany.com/product/eq-certification-ottawa/). Many of our products use the Standard Rate and that seems to work fine.
We’re using Storefront and we’ve tried turning off all of our plugins. And everything looks good in our System Status.
Any help or insights to this quandary would be very much appreciated!
