I have no idea what the default sort order in the task list is (probably none – seems to be chronological by order of task creation?), but when you have a lot of tasks it would be nice if these were sorted by due date ascending (nearest dates first).

As I could not figure any option in the settings or advanced settings for task sort order, nor does the task list allow to click on some header for changing the sort order: is there any way how this can be accomplished? If not: can you please add this to your feature backlog?

Create and assign unique tasks to each user?

Hello, I’ve been searching for days without much luck… I’m looking for a plugin that would allow an instructor to assign multiple tasks to a user, in which the user can only view the tasks when they are logged in, and the instructor can check them off once they are complete. This isn’t a “global” task list, this would be different task lists assigned to different wp users. Any help/comments would be appreciated.

Hello guys
I need help with the following. I want registered users of my website to be able to prioritise a list of tasks I will propose to them. For example:

“I will propose to them to do THING1, THING2, THING3. I want them to be able (front-end only) to see this list of things and select which of them will do first, second and third. And if possible to add a data as a deadline to each of them”.
The most important is that every user can see only his own list. No one else’s.

I have looked everywhere and I haven’t found anything suitable.
Is there anything that I can use??

How to use the task list (documentation)

Navigate to the CollabPress page for your project.
Choose “View all tasks”
Click on “Add a new task list” and give it a name.
It now sits on the page.
Drag tasks so that they sit beneath the new list name.
