The plugin is slowing loading times..

Hello, I have been using your product for quite some time, but since 1-2 weeks I have been noticing slowing of the site… A page is loading for 2-3 sec without the plugin, when activate it, the loading times jump up to even 10 sec.. What could be the problem, the client is seriously making me crazy about that.. Tried to find solution, but found none…

Taking Over A WordPress Site From…

Someone else.

So, most of the WordPress site’s I’ve done, I’ve either set them up, or worked one on one with the person who set them up.

This time I am taking over a site for a company in which the site was created by someone else.

I’ve been having some issues with small things. I get errors uploading pictures, and can’t install plugins. Most of the errors seem to be circling around “Couldn’t find directory”.

Do I need to set up my own directory?

Also all of the hosting info is still with the last company. I am getting in touch with them, but I figured I could ask on the forums as well.

[Plugin: Automatic Youtube Video Posts] Currently an import taking place

I have used the plugin for a while and never had problems it has always worked great. But I updated to the latest version today (2.1) using WordPress 3.1.1 and since I updated It wont allow me to import new videos.

I have been trying all day but it keeps saying that there is an import currently taking place, which I am pretty sure there isn’t as I’m the only person who has access to the admin.

I have tried uninstalling the plugin and then installing it again, but still it has the same error.

Anybody know what could be the problem? Thanks

Hi! I’m trying to validate my site and I get the errors in my blog about < p > and I was wondering how I can get that taken off for future posting

For some reason, when I am writing a new page – I’ll skip down a line because want a line break there. Or maybe I’ll just put everything in a different paragraph. Well, it sure as hell doesn’t like staying that way. The second I post it, as soon as I go to view it, it’s like it takes out some of the line breaks and paragraphs I’ve put in there and munches all of the content together.

So, then I tried doing it manually – by HTML. I painstakingly inserted a bunch of ‘
’ and ”/’ as they should go. I thought that would solve the problem since I thought it was all an error with the WYSIWIG editor.
Did that solve it? Nope. Now it’s still munching everything down and spits out line break and paragraph tags here and there.

Without further delay, what the heck do I do?
So much for having any pages that will have line breaks or paragraphs in them, WordPress just gets rid of most of them for no reason.

What do I do, and can I fix this or am I going to have to live with ugly unproperly-formatted pages?
