How can I reduce the number of cache cleanups after posting news and comments?

Hello, dear developers!
I am faced with such a problem. When users add a comment or vote for a comment, the cache of all articles is cleared. I have a news site and the speed of access to articles and news is important. It becomes expensive to re-cache at least 200 recent articles and news 100 times a day.

Because of this, many users encounter pages that have not yet been added to the new cache and the page loading speed increases to 5-7 seconds. Clearing the entire cache after posting a news item or adding a comment and voting for a comment seems pointless to me.

I will be glad if you can tell me:
1. How can I make sure that after posting a comment and voting for a comment, the cache is cleared only in this particular news, and not throughout the site? Or in general, how do I remove the comment block from the page caching?

2. How do I not reset the entire cache when adding a new article? On the “Cache” > “Cleanup” page, only “Home page” and “Archives” have been added to the cleanup rules https://skr.sh/sS0vJfOxRiB , but when adding an article, the cache with all articles is cleared anyway.

3. I use the wpDiscuz 7 comment plugin, they have a function to “Hide the comment text” https://prnt.sc/g2u8Ld-z-UWf The text of the comments appears on the page and in the page code only after clicking on the “View comments” button. But even with this feature enabled, after posting one comment, the cache is cleared for all site pages. Is this logical?

I reopen this topic because this iussue is marked as resolved but is not indicated how resolve.
In my case the issue still persit and cause the same error.

Error: Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function Members\Admin\members_is_admin_page() in ../wp-content/plugins/members/admin/class-notifications.php:436

Recap: The Members Plugin blocks certain functions of the TagDiv Builder. With an activated Plugin, the TD composer has an error and it’s not possible for example to add files to a text element in the composer.

I already contact TagDiv support, but is very poor and simply avoid all issue related to the others plugin.

I’m encountering an issue with pagination on my website, which uses the Newspaper theme by TagDiv. Specifically, I’ve created a Custom Post Type (CPT) named “blogs,” and I’ve also set up a page with the URL ‘/blogs’. However, when I apply pagination to this page and click on page 2, it redirects me to ‘/blogs/page/2’ but displays a 404 error. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

On one of the sites with tagdiv newspaper theme this plugin is causing an issue. I’ve not provided any social profile to the guest author but it is showing administrator’s social profile within guest autor box.

Tagdiv plugins causing site to crash

Before you asked yes, I have a ticket open with them. Over the past month or so, I have been experiencing a problem with my site. My hosting provider has mentioned that I’m reaching 100% memory usage and that it’s causing the website to temporarily be stopped until it can recover. I started going through and disabling every plug in, and eventually I found that the tagdiv plugin what’s causing the failure. Is anybody experienced this? I’m not getting very far with these folks and after 2 years of my site running with their platform this is just all of the sudden. It’s very frustrating because I can’t open more than maybe one tab of the website. So if I’m going to edit a bunch of posts I have to do one by one and hope to not crash the entire thing. What can I do to find out where the error lies with this Plugin or

Because this is a theme my entire website is built around that plug in and so I can’t just remove it. I have asked them 2 weeks ago to look into the problem but so far they have not come back with any Solutions so I thought I would ask here.

Issues with TagDiv Newspaper theme

With latests releases of this theme the plugin WP Dark Mode has many problems to set the right colors to the text. Sometimes it does it right if it was enabled prior to load a page, but when triggering on the same page using the switch, some texts (like titles for example) doesn’t change into white colors.

It was working with no issues in previous versions. Now there are compatibility issues that should be addressed ASAP. Can you help?

Users are often being redirected to malicious sites when browsing udreview.com online. It is occurring in different browsers, typically on mobile. The issue is not network-based or browser-based, our troubleshooting has confirmed.

This online article (https://arstechnica.com/security/2023/10/thousands-of-wordpress-sites-have-been-hacked-through-tagdiv-plugin-vulnerability/) stated that the TagDiv composer may have a vulnerability causing WordPress sites to be hacked.

Please let us know how to remedy this as soon as possible.

Plugin conflict with Sub-menu Newspaper theme

With the latest Ultimate Member release and the TagDiv Newspaper theme the megamenu doesn’t work. Please, fix it because it’s a problem in Ultimate Member plugin. When I deactivate it, all works fine. Newspaper theme is 12.6 using megamenu in main page menu, so you can verify it.

Ads not displaying

Hello,

The ads don’t appear on my site unless I add a widget within TagDiv to the template, and then assign the widget to Advanced Ads. Then, they appear in the widget. But if I simply create an ad and use a parameter to show within the content, on the sidebar, etc, they don’t work. I’m using the Newspaper Theme. Any ideas on how to get the ads to work? Thank you!

Cache is Messing with website Theme

Hi there,

Currently when Caching is enabled, our website displays the desktop theme on mobile and ultimately really messes up. (We have a separate mobile theme)

As a result, we have had to enable the proxy cache purge development mode to stop caching to keep our theme intact. Our theme is Newspaper 12.

Are there any fixes behind this? We really need to get our cached content working with the recent Helpful Content Update to continue to place high in SERPs. Thank you!
