Is there a plugin (or a way) to Add Tags to Plugins?

I would like to tag my plugins for organizational purposes. I have tried the Plugin Organizer but it only allows 1 category or “group” per plugin, and I really really want something more like tags.

For example I have a plug in that I would like to easily find for 3 different purposes, so I’d tag it with Affiliate, Templates, & Squeeze Pages.
Then in the plugin interface I would see all the tags at the top and just click the group that I’m looking for.

Does anyone know of anything like this? Trying to search for it on google and in the wordpress repository gives hundreds of results for tag related plugins, or plugins tagged with “tag”.

I think very interesting and good order the plugins are installed, I have many and would be good to label them, sort them by categories and / or sub-categories that I can create, this would greatly help to control the plugins that are used in a wordpress site, so as it would be incredible, managing a staff rating the site to find out what I believed they are better than others to know what are the best to reactivate

Upon activation simple tags breaks my site.

I am trying to get simple tags to work on my wordpress 2.3 install. It was working for a couple of days and then it broke my site.

I deactivated the plugin and my site went back to normal.

Deleted the plugin, even downloaded a new copy from the site and installed that one and as soon as I activated the plug in and viewed my site, it was broken again.

Anyone have a clue as to why this plug in would cause this problem.

Now that UTW can’t be used in this version of WP yet this was the best option, now that doesn’t work either.
