tags.
Other templates are using tables for small sections of content such as order-details-customer.php
which are not tabular data.

]]>Is there a plugin, or some obvious thing I’m missing about WordPress, that allows me to do this?
I’ll give you an example. Let’s say I had a database of roses that one could grow in the US. Is there a way that I can create posts from information that includes rose color, growing season, growing region, fragrance, hybrid inheritance, description, rating of ease of care, rating of quality, etc? Is there some plugin or process that would allow me to import that database so that the rose name was the title of the post, and all the information appeared in the template, to which readers could comment?
]]>Does anyone know of a plugin that can accomplish this?
If your confused as to what I mean by tabular and expandable go to https://www.wpromote.com/ and look at the section directly below the awards and above the footer.
Please let me know if you have seen any plugins that offer this function.

]]>I was just wondering if anybody had any idea how to go about laying out a template so that posts are displayed in a tabular, grid-style fashion on the designated posts page, and/or categories/archives/search results pages, instead of the standard vertical list fashion?
I would really like to have the posts laid out in a grid with each ‘grid square’ (maybe three columns and three rows of them) having the main post picture in a thumbnail and the hyperlinked title of the post underneath. Unfortunately, I don’t really know enough PHP to make it a reality. So I was just wondering if anybody could offer any pointers?
Many thanks,
All the best,
Rory.
I have several word-press implementations and one feature I am always wishing was included, or, had a plugin was one for data comparison.
What I mean is that, say, for each post, I include particular information that I would like compared with another post. For example, a Car blog, which posts car speed, acceleration, weight, length, height, etc.
I would then fill in these fields, and, when the next new car comes out, I could fill in the same fields, with different information, and viewers could choose to see a comparison of the data in a table of sorts.
Does anyone know if there is something out there for this, or, am I going to have to pay a coder to come up with the goodies? I think it is a good idea, as it could be used to tabulate and compare anything, with the fields being defined by the author, so it could cover just about any topic out there.
Any help would be
It seems the only way to create tabular data in a wordpress page is to manually code it…
I’m surprised there isn’t a plugin out there to assist in creating tables in the visual editor.
My question is, how can I easily create/edit tables in the visual editor, does anyone have any good ideas?
