Recently, after 4 month of inactivity, i restarted creating web stories for my blog through my WordPress dashboard. I created one story, and added related information like title, description, tags and all that is needed.
Despite being an admin of my blog, i’m not able to publish my new story or even update the existing stories that are published by me in past. I am an admin of my blog.
It shows following message when i click on ‘publish’ button.
“Submit for Review- Submit your work for review, an editor will review and publish it.”
Why does this message exists when i’m the admin! do i need to create an editor account?
]]>Thank you very much!
Lucas.
When I try to add a new page or product, the publish button says ‘submit for review’. Has anyone else had this issue?
I’ve just migrated a new website from my local server so I can’t get why any settings would be different anywhere
]]>I’ve tried other WordPress sites that I have and the same issue happens, I’ve even tried using a different app ID and the same thing continues to happen.
I tried to figure it out, but can’t seem to figure it out.
I’m working via Riviton.com, and my client with the indicated issues have happened on TheMeowPost.com and TheMeowPost.co.
I have the latest version of WordPress and the plugin. I hope you can help as I’ve tried many things with no luck.
Thanks for your help!

]]>When I go to make a new post, new page, duplicate a pre-existing page, attempt to create a new user or change the settings on my admin user I’m unable to.
When I try to make a new post the post editor (where the content/text/html input box is) has been removed, and my only option on the right hand side is to “save as draft” or “submit for review” – no post button, and I am the only administrator / only account.
When I create a new account it’s completely blank, unable to be edited or even logged into, although it does process SOMETHING during creation.
When I try to upload any file or image, it won’t work.
I’m unsure what to do right now, can anybody help me? Is it my WP admin account that’s messed up or what? I’ve also tried the following:
-Disabled all plugins – did nothing
-Changed theme – did nothing
-Updated WordPress to newest version – did nothing
-Disabled Cacheing plugins – did nothing
-Checked with my host, and I was told this:
“I checked many factors on your websites and it seems to be a wordpress issue.
It isn’t coming from the .htaccess nor the plugins folders but I can’t create another administrator user and that’s not usual. There is also a white username without any value.
I tried to repair and check your mysql database but it seems to be working properly without any error.
I would warmly suggest that you reach the wordpress community about your issue.”
]]>This is my first real time developing a wordpress site locally using MAMP.
I started working on this website online but the server i was developing on was too slow for my taste. So i decided to try working locally.
I’ve downloaded and exported the database and the complete filesystem.
I did a fresh install of wordpress locally
I’ve imported the website i made online in the local version.
All seemed to work well but my database started having weird ‘flaws’ . Since it was very late at night and i was very tired while working on this website i don’t really remember all the weird stuff.
However, now i’ve came to a point where i seem to not be able to publish an new page or post or upload media. I’m getting an “Submit For Review” instead of a “Publish” button.
I’ve tried another fresh install of wordpress. i’ve tried disabling all the plugins via FTP, dashboard and mysql.
I’ve checked my administrator permissions in the database, something like this:
a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;s:1:”1″;}. Which checked out.
So i’m running out of options. How can i tell if my database has errors or flaws in it? Is there a way to test it? Because in a situation like this my only option seems to be to start all over again with a fresh and new database, i certainly hope that’s not the case!
Plugins i use:
Backwpup
Duplicate Post plugin
Essential Grid
jQuery updater
Slider revolution
Events calendar
Velvet blues update URLS
Wordfence Security
Wordpress import
WP cleanup optimizer lite
WP instagram widget
WP smush
WP bakery visual composer
And theme:
Dentalux 1.4
I really really really hope someone can help me out on this one!
]]>Right now, the website is running as it was initially, whereby the content that was created before the migration can be edited, deleted or set to draft or any other modes. Plugins can be installed and uninstalled as they should.
The issue comes with the creation of new content – be it a post, a page or content for a plugin. There are only the Save as Draft or Submit For Review buttons, there is no Publish button.
I have scoured through the forums on this subject and tried every suggestion that has been made to no avail, but I think maybe this may have to do with the difference in how the websites have been hosted.
If anyone knows of a way to fix this, I would greatly appreciate a description of how to go about it.

Thank you.
]]>Publishing Posts: For instance, what is happening is that when we go to add a new post, instead of the usual publish button to save the product and make it live that button is now replaced with a button that says “Submit for Review”. If I fill out all the info for a new product and click the Submit for Review button I get a screen that says “you are not allowed to edit this post”. I am logged in as an administrator, the original administrator for the site.
Saving WP User Account Info: It is no more possible to save some user infos, such Facebook adress, Google Adress, etc..
Creating a new account as a user: It is no more possible to create a new user account, getting a blank page once the creation request is launched.
No upgrades, no plugins installation were done in the previous periods.
I already desactivated and re-activtaed all the plugins but nothing changed.
This just started happening. Any help understanding what is going on would be appreciated.
Thanks
