How to set?
Best regards
Arno B.
A WordPress based website that I help out with allows readers to sign up as subscribers to receive newsletters. Recently, we have been experiencing a problem with a hack in which some unknown person or bot would sign up and give the account admin status. It seems that the unknown user can not only give himself admin status but also evade detection by StatCounter. All authorized administrator accounts have hard-to-guess passwords that are changed on a regular basis, and a user activity tracking plugin has been installed so they both rule out logging in with stolen passwords.
SiteLock is currently working with us by scanning the site for malware on a regular basis but other than that, it seems that even they are baffled. Is anyone having the same problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?
]]>There is a possible bug or glitch about how subscribers and WP users are managed.
When I delete a subscriber which is also a WP user from Alo EasyMail list, I can’t get back that user using the really nice functionality to import subscribers from WP users list.
If I create a new WP user, all is fine and I can use this functionality to import he new user to the subscriber list.
Thanks,

]]>I have installed your plugin Super Socializer in my wordpress site. I use only FB social login to activate BB press forum. Everything is okay, but new user account which are create via social FB login has simultaneous WordPress role – Subscriber and Forum role Participant.
This second role is okay because give access to forum and this is enough I DON’T want create simultaneous user with worpdress Subscriber role.
How to turn off this option???
]]>The plugin automatically import wordpress users. Why is that? The users have to ask for the email, not to have it by default.
– when installing plugin, it import wp users -> should be an option to / not to
– when updating plugin, it reimport wp users -> should be an option to / not to
– when try to delete wp users from wp users list, it doesn’t work, the lists is imported again and again, after every delete
one caveat: also running ultimate member and wondering if that restricts subscriber role sitemap generation.
any ideas?

]]>On logging in to the subscriber’s Dashboard, I see 3 options on the left tabs:
1. Dashboard
2. Profile
3. Settings
On opening the settings tab, I see my “Custom Login” plugin and it does seem to me like subscriber can access the plugin and also modify it.
Please anybody know how to Disable the “Custom Login” Plugin from showing on the subscriber’s dashboard? Help Me

]]>I’m a tad unclear on the descriptions given under the Roles and Capabilities in the Codex.
It says that the Author can publish and edit, but it doesn’t say exactly what or where, or even under what conditions.
What I need is my authors to have the ability to manage, edit, save, draft, publish, delete THEIR own (not anyone else’s). Also they must be restricted to posting in their own catagory.
Can the Author Role do this? If not, is there a hack or plugin that will let me restrict and set permissions this way?
Kind regards
