Previously the footer menu used to show all the submenus, not just the top level. Now I have done something and the submenus no longer show in the footer menu. What have I done wrong please?
Thanks,
Ed
]]>I’ve observed an issue with the main menu’s functionality on mobile devices.
Whenever multiple sub-menus are present on the main menu, regardless of which one is selected, it’s always the first submenu that expands.
This hinders the ability to display multiple sub-menus on the page.
]]>When there are submenus for any menu element, the screen reader is unable to identify it as a link. For example, on my site digitala11y.com, the “Resources” menu cannot be operated with the keyboard when the screen reader is switched on.
I am using the NVDA and JAWS screen readers. The “Resources” menu is read as articles during forward tab navigation, and the submenu is revealed during shift tab navigation.
The role of the element as a link is not being exposed.
Please look into this issue, as it is a critical bug for accessibility.
]]>I have purchased the pro version and its great but am struggling a bit with navigating the documentation. I’d really like it to do two things.
1/ For tablet and mobile when i click the hamburger its displaying all of the menu so showing sub menu’s eg about us, members areas all have further sub menus. I then have a long list scrolling down the page. How do I make those appear as a drop down menu similar to your pro version example 3.
2/ Id also like the menu to appear from the left.
]]>I also have a lot of sub-menus underneath most of them. So the “About Us” has three sub-menus.
The menu bar works fine on my desktop. But it does not work on my mobile phone. All you see are the top sections. None of the sub-menus fly out underneath the top menu words.
So on my mobile screen I can get to the “About Us” section, but no sub-menus underneath this.
