Astra theme not activating after recent update

I updated my astra theme and it broke. My website is currently using a default themes hen I tried to preview a blog post I was working on after updating Astra, it showed spreadsheet missing. Please help. Is there a way to troubleshoot and have it activating, and working like before

Ribosome Theme now "broken" after 3 months ??

I’ve used the Ribosome Theme since May 2016, no problems (www.remarpro.com blog via GoDaddy hosting). Yesterday, after installing CleanTalk spam filter plugin, and also Ad Inserter plugin, the theme is now “broken” and it reverted back to the default theme (2016). I tried disabling both plugins, deleting and reinstalling the Ribosome theme (since it said the “style sheet is missing”), and even restarting my computer twice. Not only with the upload of Ribosome not work, it won’t even complete the upload of ANY of the new themes I’ve tried. PLEASE HELP.

Hey everyone,
I’m new to WP and not technical by any means (learning as I go). I have recently updated my WP site to 3.1.3 in doing so I have lost the style to a page? see: https://www.jetlifelv.com/group/deals/las-vegas/

Since this was suppose to be a quick update I didn’t back anything up? Wasn’t sure if I was suppose to?

Hi, I’ve just bought a theme forest template and tried to upload it, but on the theme page i’m being told that the style sheet is missing. I have used this template before and it was fine. What is a style sheet, and how can i make sure its there?!! I checked through my ftp and there is a file called “style.css”. Is that the correct file? Cheers

i’m trying to add my own design. i have uploaded my zipped photoshop file and it says it was uploaded successfully but i can’t find it anywhere. when i go to themes, i see the following at the bottom of the page:

Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

Name Description
Stylesheet is missing.

can anyone advise me here?

Tried to download 3 separate themes now, and all three have had the error message ‘ style sheet missing ‘ . CSS sheets have been downloaded for all three. Any ideas?

Hello,

I’m in the process of implementing a new design for https://www.split-magazine.com/ . I have changed the respective template files, and the changes are evident on the Home page. However, the same changes are not effective on the category and single post pages.

Even if there is some error in PHP (which there most probably isn’t), it should at least show the new header and footer. Instead, the old header and footer are still visible, even though the header.php and footer.php files have been changed (as is visible from the Home page).

I used a plugin (WP Cache Inspect –> https://blog.ftwr.co.uk/wordpress/wp-cache-inspect/ ) to clear the cache, but even then the old pages are showing.

Help, anyone? No pressure, but this is kinda urgent, ‘coz I’m in the middle of the redesign, stuck because of this. Any help would be very much appreciated!! Thanks!
