Hi there,

After installing, activating and adding the .gpx-extension I uploaded a GPX-file.
Goes well.

When I’m linking to the file I get the following error:
“This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it.”

How do I fix this?

Hello.

As I enter this unfamiliar domain there is always the grand possibility of making a total fool of myself, but here goes.

I seem to have managed to get all things up and running with Seriously Simple Podcasting. However, if I direct traffic to my podcasts from a page linked to the RSS feed URL, it takes me to this;

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

If I direct it via the podcast/series link my podcasts seem to be stored by default into the blog archives where they lose the social links ect.

I currently have left both options up

What have I missed?

Sitemap error

WordPress version: latest
WordPress SEO version: latest

I did this: Enabled the Yoast SEO plugin + sitemap, nothing fancy.

I expected the plugin to do this: Generate a sitemap for me

Instead it did this:

It generates 3 sitemaps at: https://gamesnack.be/sitemap_index.xml
No problem with sitemap 1 and 3, but the second one displays an error:
“This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.”

Any suggestions?

My RSS feed don't work properly

I use Unicode to type in Sinhala.

Earlier, my RSS feed was okay, but now when I click RSS, it says,

“This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.”

Know what this means? Please help me.

Hey there- I’ve spent the last 7 hours on this problem w no resolution, I’m wondering if anyone here has one: When generating the map I get an error msg “There was a problem writing your zipped sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable.” when I preview my sitemap.xml from my file manager (FatCow host) it takes me to https://nourishment.us/sitemap.xml (no www) and the page is blank in Chrome and in Firefox gives error msg 805303f4. When cut n paste the sitemap url https://www.nourishment.us/sitemap.xml (WITH the www)I get what looks sort of like a site map but the heading “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.” that’s in google Google Chrome- in Firefox I get a sitemap that fatcow uploaded to try to solve my problem (not so much)
It seems that my sitemap.xml does not point to my site with the WWW and even when I load it that way I get a sitemap generated by some 3rd party in Firefox (fatcow support used another sight- they dont wanna hear it about WP, no help at all) and a sitemap with no style in Chrome.
I’ve gone round and round in circles on this one, followed the directions in other post on forum and any thing that came up on google, I’ve uninstalled and re-installed it 4 times at least. Don’t know where to go from here. grrrrr.. Anyone? Please? I’m begging…\

Hey,

I’m newish to making websites and I’m not a coder so I don’t understand a lot of how the things work.

But my RSS feed doesn’t seem to be working. When I click on it it shows the message: “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.” and then there is a lot of code underneath.

How can I fix this problem?

Just renewed my account with GoDaddy for another year and ever since i did that, my RSS Feed is dead. Website is: https://www.rockandrollwritein.com/feed

Error message in IE is: This feed no longer exists

Error message in Google Chrome is: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it.

The site appears to be working normally besides this, but I’d like to fix it. Any ideas?

Hello,

My RSS Xml when clicked on gives me this message

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

and it just shows the document tree as described above.

My blog address is www.darkdesigngraphics.co.uk/news and the feed is www.darkdesigngraphics.co.uk/news/feed.

I am pretty sure it still works as usual just does not display correctly.
I am not too competent with coding so if you have any ideas layman’s terms would be useful.
