Hi, I’m using LiteSpeed Cache on my WordPress site and attempted to create a backup. However, the process took an unusually long time. Upon investigating, I noticed a significant increase in the site’s overall size. After checking, I discovered that LiteSpeed Cache is consuming over 80GB of space, which seems excessive. I even used Diffchecker to compare cached and live pages, but both versions appeared identical. Any advice on how to manage or reduce the cache size would be appreciated.

I want to install WordPress on my windows computer. I want to do this to learn WordPress. I am particular interested in learning the tool Gutenberg for the creation / modification of HTML files.

I have installed XAMPP on my machine. I have not done a separate install of MySQL and I prefer not to if it is not required. What is the next step in the process of installing WordPress on my machine?

There are many “free”mium (and “fee”mium) backup plugins out there. I’ve been maintaining this one on dozens of WP websites for longer than I can recall and I still stick to it. Why? Because the free/community version supports AWS storage which is private, very cheap, and it brings me more peace of mind than any other cloud platforms. If you need to restore, of course, you will have some handwork to do since automated restore is only available in the “fee”mium version. But a seasoned WP admin and Linux user knows how to do that.

Hi,

I am currently experiencing a problem, where every once in a while certain products’ stocks get reset to 0 at random times. I figured initially it was a synchronisation problem with my ERP, but the stock remains unchanged in my ERP software, therefore I installed WP Activity Log to track the movement of products in my site.

Every false product movement is initiated by the UserAgent “WooCommerce API Client-PHP/3.0.0”.

I am wondering what is causing this problem, and how I can fix it. Products that have their stocks reset to 0 by WooCommerce in such a manner are sometimes not noticed by staff, and can lead to the goods spoiling in storage as they could not be sold.

How to limit storage space for uploaded media for users of front end site

Hello,

There has been posts about this topic and plugins in the past but they are all outdated and none work.

I would like to be able to limit the maximum amount of space front end users of my site can have to upload media for example, 10mb per person. I would like to attach the limit to user roles, for example, authors can have 50mb of storage but guest posters can only have 10mb. I have not found a way to do this. Can someone help? I am not a developer but I can edit PHP and CSS if you tell me the code.

I’m considering using your solution for a client project. I would like to try the free version first. I installed Embed SharePoint OneDrive Documents directly from the WordPress plugin repository, successfully connected to a personal Onedrive account in the Connect tab, can now select Drive Personal Onedrive in the Preview Documents / Files tab, I also see the shortcode but I don’t see under the shortcode any files, folders. There is only an emty table with 3 columns.
When I add the shortcode to a page, I still see the title Personal Onedrive and the table with the 3 column headings Name, Last Modified, Size, but no files or folders. Did I miss a step or why is it not showing up?
