Stop Spammers plugin has blocked my account

I tried to login to my admin module today, using the same PC I’ve been using for years. I was blocked by Stop Spammers. When I follow the link to try and allow the user (me), I am told that I’m blocked. So I’m stuck in a loop and can’t gain access to my own site. Nothing has changed, unless a plugin was auto-updated (but I can’t check that since I can’t login to my dashboard)

I have also tried using a different PC, in case it was my IP address being blocked. That PC was also blocked, so it’s more likely an issue with my email or with the plugin.

Please help.

With New Update only we can see colourful buttons and Icon.

Link of total number of allow request pending is not working

under Stop Spammers — Allow Lists
it automatically change and allow disabled button

under Stop Spammers — Block Lists
it automatically change and disable allowed buttons
Deleting all Blocked IPs
Deleting all Blocked TLDs automatically

same issue was occuring in earlier but last 2 before it was fixed now it started again that make whole plugin useless

Hi,
I’ve newly installed the stop spammers plugin and when I checked its log report to see the blocked users and the users who were allowed to submit the contact form I didn’t understand the report because there are lots of unclear resons:
1)SFS last seen=2019-12-21, frequency=2032
2)Author Too Long: \\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\\0\
3)Bad Cache: 188.213.49.212
4)404 on Exploit Attempt /uploadify/uploadify.php?folder=/ uploadify/uploadify.php

so how can I know what does these reasons mean and if this user was actully allowed to contact me or was blocked and detected as a spammer?

Constant form spam continues to make its way through despite the use of this app and despite adding “block list” words (that feature doesn’t work).

Installed and configured, offers interesting functions to prevent or fight spammers. Some of the features offered here are “premium” in other plugins so I must say that it is a surprise….let’s see, time will tell but for the moment looks very promising.

Based on Stop Spammers, this lightweight spam stopper is still aggressive enough to stop 99% of the spammers and robots hitting your site. It is careful to never lock a webmaster out of WordPress. The options interface is slick and the logging is very very useful.
I use it on 11 of my sites and I have my clients all using it.
Thanks to Will and all the effort he put in to make this plugin extremely useful while still being very very safe.

If you are using stop-spammers on your EDD license check site, Please test adding a license key to a test site. I was getting prevented by stop spammers from the main site. My custom ‘updates’ page where license keys got entered showed the response from the host site which was ‘Stop spammers’ html that said access was denied to enter info to the blog. VERY confusing since stop spammers wasn’t installed there.

Sorry I didn’t take a screenshot before I deleted stop spammers everywhere.

Multisite Issues

There are a few issues when using this plugin in multisite.

When activated on a sub-site basis, the settings are only displayed in the network admin. It does not appear in the admin sidebar – you have to access it via clicking settings on the sub-site plugin list.
Network menu displayed when not network activated.
Generally does not stop spam when network activated (Known spam that gets reported by SFS and Akismet

I as security use this plugin over a periot of 2 years and found it good, we run a online news-paper that got a lot of fake inlogs on ower redactie-members, but this plugin collect them all and put them in the blacklist. What I like is to put in the IP’s *.*.*.*-*.*.*.* now we use the *.*.*.*/** this works also but is more better.
