I only have one small issue that I hope you can help me with. When I have the plugin activated, the quantity count on my product page AND cart page will increment by 2 instead of 1. So when I want to add a quantity of more than one to my cart, I click the “+” to increase the quantity and it increases as 1, 3, 5, etc. It also decrements by 2 (ie. 5, 3, 1).
On the cart page, it has the same problem. BUT if I change the quantity and click “Update cart,” the problem disappears and I can change the quantity by increments of 1.
I appreciate any insight or help. Thank you!
]]>It picks up the correct information from the existing wp_config file, the WordPress installation I want to overwrite exists and is functional, yet I get:
Unable to connect the user [] to the host [localhost].
The server error response was: Access denied for user ”@’localhost’‘
What is going on? The database & user obviously exist as the current installation works.
I’ve used Duplicator for several years, all of a sudden it seems much harder to restore a backup.

]]>Fresh install on a machine that’s never had WordPress installed on it.
I have successfully and painlessly installed WordPress on local and remote machines a couple hundred times the past 20 years. This is the first time I’ve seen this issue: Blank page on Step 2 of the install. No error messages, nothing… just blank white page.
In php.ini I made these changes:
max_execution_time increased to 300
memory_limit increased to 256MB
In wp_config_sample.php I added/changed these lines:
error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set(‘display_errors’, 1);
define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
No luck. I still don’t even get an error message…??
Tried renaming wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php, then entered the required information, including the salts, and WordPress throws this at me: “Sorry, I need a wp-config-sample.php file to work from. Please re-upload this file to your WordPress installation.”
I thought WP was able to work with a pre-configured config file?
I have spent almost three hours Googling and trying suggestions from many sources – including here at the WP forums, but nothing is working. Is there ANYTHING else I can try?
Is there anything in my Apache config or MySQL setup that could be doing this?
I see that this question has been asked in the past, but I haven’t found an answer that tackles my problem exactly.
I’m attempting to set up WordPress 4.4.1 on a Windows 10 localhost through XAMPP, but after choosing a site name and password and clicking “Next”, the installation process hangs up. It takes forever to “Access localhost”, and when another page does pop up, the only thing that shows up is the WordPress icon and a blank page where I assume more texts and prompts should be.
When I check phpmyadmin, I have about half of the required databases for WordPress. Increasing the maximum executable time will result in more databases being constructed, but still short of a full install.
I read in another thread that deleting the wp-config file that came default with the WordPress .zip file would do the trick, so I tried that. When I did, the install appears to finish, but I’m not given a prompt to create a user, and phpmyadmin displays the database as having no users.
I hope somebody can help. Thanks in advance.

]]>I know absolutely nothing about computers and the installation instructions may as well be written in Mandarin. I don’t have a clue what I’m doing.
I found wp-admin/install.php and double clicked on it. The instructions say that I’ll then be taken through the process, but I wasn’t all I got was a text box with loads of random code in it and no instructions.
What do I need to do to complete step 2 in installation please? It also mentions database connection details in step 2 and don’t know what database it is referring to or what the connection details are???
Please help,
A non-geek
