Thought the team should know.
Thanks
I believe that STCR works like a charm. But I received an email from one of my comment subscribers that the confirmation link ends in my 404 page.
I’ve checked it and found the same. So I’ve added a test email address to check what happens. And the confirmation link also ends in my 404 page.
So I went through the “/admin.php?page=stcr_notifications” page to check the templates. BTW, I didn’t change anything since the installation and the initial setup. I’ve found the “confirm_link” which is noted as “[confirm_link]”. When I hover over the link in the double opt-in template, the link is presented as: “domain/wp-admin/[confirm_link]”.
So, what went wrong? And how can I correct it? I have no idea when this issue occured for the first time. But with this behavior, comment subscriptions are useless. The subscribers are listed correctly, but with the 404 page as target for the link I confuse them.
Thank you very much for your help.
]]>I am using your plugin on my child-theme (from Twenty Nineteen), and my problem is that the Management Page is being hidden by my website’s background image (exept the title) > https://www.dreamsonearth.com/abonnements-commentaires/
With the Inspect Element tool from your browser you can temporarly uncheck my background image and see that the StCR content appears behind.
I don’t understand where the problem is because my other pages (built with Elementor) are all well displayed. My background image has a z-index of 0 so it shouldn’t be over the content..
Do you know this issue and how to solve it?
Isabelle

]]>I’ve looked through the forum, and I’ve tried different settings and plugins for SMTP etc. but no luck. I have my settings in the plugin correct, but visitors who leave comments on my site still don’t receive an email notification of follow-up comments. I have now activated the dropdown where they can choose what they want to receive (as you can see in the link to my blog below) which are great options if they only would get notified

Can you help? Happy to send access details via email.
Thanks!
]]>One quick suggestion/request for a future update – can jquery be removed from the front end?
It only appears to be for 2 very simple functions – relocating the subscribe option above the button, and validating the email address. I know a lot of sites use jquery anyway, but a lot don’t too – which makes it a large overhead to add jquery and jquery-migrate just for those functions. I deregistered them but most people won’t know how to do that.
]]>I was having problems with timeouts from Cloudflare recently, so I started digging deeper.
I found out that the issue was with comment timeouts because I was getting illegal mix of collations error in my databases.
Looking though the databases, I realized that wp_subscribe_reloaded_subscribers table was using utf8mb4 charset with utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci collation which was conflicting with default WordPress utf8 utf8_general_ci.
Is there any fast fix by editing your plugin files or changing the database collation manually is the only option?
Thanks
