Static Slider Images cutting off (height) on certain monitors

So basically my static slider looks good on my laptop and home desktop but my clients computer monitors are showing the static sliders differently. The static slider images are cutting off the height on my clients monitors and other monitors.

I added the following CSS under Themes –> Customize –> Additional CSS:

#extatex-static-carousel-area .item {
height: 1000px
}

Is there anything else I need to add? Where else I do I need to change the static slider settings so it adapts the images to whatever monitor site is being displayed on?

How to make Slider displays my recent post & change the Navigation Menu Color?

Halo,

I’m very happy to find your theme. It is easy to use as I am a newbie of blogging world, so I don’t really understand about the CSS.

1)My question is I want to change the navigation colors. I did it in the customization menu, but I got the colors of the navigation menu all the same. “all is blue”.

I really want to change each navigation menu with different color like you have at the demo session. Could you please help me? I would appreciate it.
2) My second question is I want the slider to be displayed as “recent” post without needing to use the post code. the slider seems to be static post, so I should change it manually. So, can you help me to make it display my recent post? So when I post new articles, the slider changes as well.

Static Slider is not appearing

I cannot see the Static Slider on my Optimizer Theme. I just selected the theme from scratch and it looks nothing like the theme. I’ve added a photo to the slider and still nothing.

Please help, I’ve tried everything. I’m 15 minutes from saying fuck it and going to Wix.com.

Optimizer Template Static Slider Question

I just installed the Optimizer Template (love it!) but just have one aesthetic change that needs to be made and I cannot find where to change it. The Static Slider at the top of the page is quite large, taking up more space that I would like. The width is fine (i am using the box setting) but the length is twice as long as I would like. I looked through the Stylesheet, but am not familiar enough with code to change anything with any confidence. Help!

static slider buttons cannot be edited

I’m currently designing my blog with this theme. For some reason the optimizer customisation for the static front page slider does’t allow me to click / edit the two buttons (demo & download). I was able to edit them previously, but not any more. Is there a way to simply disable them entirely?

6th slide suddenly appears in in static presentation page slider

This seems very weird, but all of a sudden yesterday g a sixth slide and slider bullet appeared out of nowhere on my presentation page slider. Parabola provides no means by which to configure this last slide, and so there’s an empty white space in that slide, that can’t be changed or removed. Has anyone else run into this phenomenon? If so, is there a fix?

front page static slider not moving down properly

I added some code last week and cannot remember what it is or where. I’m very new at WordPress and learning all this on my own. Anyways, when I scroll down on the front page the image disappears and it’s white above, instead of where the picture should be sliding up. Also, how do i make the font responsive for the mobile browser? Whenever I make it larger, it looks all smashed together and hard to read on a mobile device.

I am looking for a plugin that would help me feature content, similar to a slider… only instead of rotating content it would display all of the slides in a grid.

An example could be seen as part of the Hot Topix theme,

I would like the slider to be ‘paused’ by default, so that users flip through photos at their own pace. I’ve put the transition speed at the maximum limit, but how can I keep it from sliding at all?
