How do I convert the dynamic sidebar to a static one?

Hello I’d like to have a static left side-bar instead of the dynamic pop ou sidebar this them comes with. Can someone tell me how to do this? Thanks!

I’m running a Twenty Fifteen child theme and the side bar background image is sticky/static in that it doesn’t change when you scroll, but its content (site header, tagline, widgets, menus) do move. How can I make the content stay put too?

Further to this, I’d like to control exactly where the content sits relative to the sidebar. When I’m at the top of the page, the content is lower than I would like.

On your Themes & Co website built with the Customizr theme, you have a static sidebar labeled “Table of Contents” that links to all your content buy scrolling down the page. How did you build this? My custom sidebar scrolls with the page and my links to content open new windows or pages instead of scrolling down. I want mine to work exactly like yours in my Customizr website. Thanks

How can I code a theme so that the sidebar stays static and only the pages change. This is an example on a www.remarpro.com page:

I am designing to show only one post per page. I would like to place text in the sidebar which changes depending on which post is being shown. In essence, part of the sidebar would act as part of the post being viewed. The other part of the sidebar would contain the blog goodies like cloud, About, Archives, etc.

If this is not possible, is it at least possible to do this on continuation pages?
