Are they blocking my access on purpose? I have had other people in the UK and the US try to view thier homepage and they see it with no problem so I have no option to believe that they are after 5 yrs or more just blocking me.
]]>I recently replaced StatCounter Premium on my website with Koko Analytics, so now I am saving money plus I have a faster/better site and a more privacy-friendly solution to boot.
So how can we give back to financially support this plugin? Thanks so much!
]]>Finally, I saw a recommendation for new Koko Analytics in the Kinsta newsletter. This WP plugin is free, super-easy to set up, and works perfectly out of the box. It tracks the same data that Statcounter reports, with virtually identical results.
Thanks! You just made my website faster to load and less expensive to operate. Plus (finally!) no more data going to a third party – which likely also helps my site’s SEO and traffic.
]]>At StatCounter, you pay for a “Log Quota” of a certain size – like 50K, 100K, 250K pageviews. That’s the rolling number of site visits that you can see detailed data for.
But even for days where your Log Quota has passed, StatCounter keeps track (forever!) of two simple numbers for that day: Total Visits and Total Visitors.
That way, even months or years later, you can still see & track your site’s overall traffic levels… It’s extremely lightweight and costs virtually nothing.
I see that WP Statistics already has a historical table where cumulative totals are updated after “Purge Old Data Daily” is run.
Couldn’t it easily be extended so that it also keeps track of Total Visits and Total Visitors for each day that’s rolled off – so that this helpful data is always preserved, and also shown in the Hits Statistics Charts over time, even going months or years back, and so on?
I think it would be a fantastic and very helpful addition, rather than the older chart days just dropping off to zero whenever detailed data is purged. Probably not too hard to implement, as well.
Heck, you could even make it a Premium Add-On if you like.
What do you think?
]]>There are 5 websites like this one, where I installed this plugin and non is ok when tested in GTmetrix.
What else should I do? Should I write all the scripts I need to defer to the “Scripts to defer” collumn? I have no idea what to write there… Could you, please, help me?
